The sweet Ivory of the mountains
Lusting for the springtime fountains
The frozen river trickles on
Gasping for the midsummer dawn

The Barren trees go on enduring
For the sun to come a stirring
The birds in flight, a desperate quest
To search in vain, for a nest

The Sky adrift in mild gray
Waiting to burst on that great day

The broken light dances across the sky
The ever watching clouds pass by
Tremors through the air give way
To the flash of light that will never stay

The lost love you'll never hold
The painful stories never told
The Days go on by and by
you never tell anyone that you cry

not all is lost the day is long
and you have convinced yourself that you are strong
The hint of charity lingers in the human race
to give hope and brighten your face

The storm of darkness will never hold
the giants of the heavens couldn't be so bold
The fire of the sky could never pierce
A heart that dares to beat so fierce

The Heavens rent with effulgent rays
Across the Earth like a luminescent maze

Home at last the journey over
you feel lucky now, like a four leaf clover
You can feel it brush across your skin
its real, and as invisible as the wind

The end? I think this is not
look at how hard we've fought
For not in vain was the trial
lift your chin now, lets see that smile

— The End —
