To Whisper in Her Ear
Zachary Hunter Sep 2012
To whisper in her ear all the things i love, so clear.
To whisper songs of love and dreams songs of passions for which they gleam
To whisper something in her ear, just to say "I missed you, dear!"
To Whisper that song that never fails the song that began all our fairy tales
To Whisper the things i hold so dear her sharing my thoughts, so sincere
To whisper hello and goodbye at the beginning and when we die
To whisper my thoughts of courage and distress my thoughts of love and happiness
To Whisper the words that make her tingle the words that start a jingle
To Whisper All she means to me and all she ever needs to be
To Whisper memories and thoughts from the past all those dreams that will forever last
To whisper the words of love in her ear, "Baby I will always be here."

The Breeze
Zachary Hunter Dec 2012
Rustle rustle through the trees
the wind of the North, a cool air breeze
shake as they might the leaves hold tight
as the cool sea breeze flew through the night

Through the trees and through the fields
and through the mines as which it wields
a chill that frosty death can bight
as the breeze flew through the night

the leaves they shook the seas they churned
the fields in which the poppies burned
a wilted flower in the breeze
holds tight to life while it pleads

in the distance of the night
a cool air breeze is now in flight
off to the void in which it came
leaving the world a frosty frame

For Those
Zachary Hunter Oct 2012
We sit and we watch the world unfold
just to see the years untold
we wait and see the book for-close
what will become the future of those
those who whimper, those who weep
those who cry themselves to sleep
those who've loved and gave so much
all for that one - love can touch
for those who sing and those who dance
for those who've seen their last romance
for those with courage undefined
who never give up - not confined
those with a heart of a lioness roar
from love's tallest part; the inner core
we sit and we watch the world unfold
just to see what the years have told.

When Love is Finally Ours
Zachary Hunter Oct 2012
It holds us together
It shows who we are
I'll love her forever
She is my shinning star

It lifts us up on mountains
like a river through the heart
a huge stone fountain
covered in masonry art

Love shows us it's power
through the smallest things of all
through the beauty, like a flower
oh how my heart may stall

She's beauty, she's love
I do all with my best
she's pure as snow from above
some say i'm obsessed

I'll hum the beat of her chest
While we watch the stars
We'll sleep until we are at rest
When love is finally ours.

Lost At Sea
Zachary Hunter Oct 2012
I've seen the waves crash - break the shore
I've seen the waves beat as they tattered the oar
The boat, it rocks and creeks as they slam slam slam
as the mangled men rush to the deck, fast as they can
Persistent is the tempest, came like the sinned
listen to the fear of the arctic mist wind
A life has flashed in the night, gone with a waves quick strike
Not another, but three more- none alike
Alas! one more to see tomorrows light
As death has tortured throughout the night
it must be life, it must be man
or is it nature from the ocean clan
'er love shall never see
the four men taken by the sea

Off Off and Away
Zachary Hunter Sep 2012
Fasten your seat belts, here we go off to the land of silken snow
through the trees across the ground faster than the speed of sound!
over the powder of crystal light a song that sings to our delight
a world of white and covered trees lost in winter all their leaves
a season so cold It will cool your throat time to whip out the winter coat.
along the ridge we will ride and listen to the soft powder as we glide
Here we go a long way gone Through all the cold, still growing strong!

Senses
Zachary Hunter Oct 2012
Hear the falls hear the leaves
smell the mist smell the breeze
see the rainbows of the trees
hear the rumble bumble of the bees

see the river see the stream
see the sunlight see it's beam
see the cotton, is it cream?
see your future live the dream

watch the birds in the sky
watch the clouds way up high
feel the air passing by
breath it in, make a sigh

Rest in Thee
Zachary Hunter Oct 2012
The starry night doth guide us there, where our hearts are bound
The beauty of this fair-good night, feel it all around
Follow the pin holsters of the sky - they'll point to your destiny
The night is warm and shall ever be, as long I've rest in thee
