Help fill this void inside of me.
Reach for my hand,
Before I fall.
Help me feel something else.
I am slipping away,
Into the hopelessness.
False words and artificial smiles.
Harder and harder,
Can’t distinguish truth.
Does it make you feel good,
to see me fallen and hurt?
Strings of thought,
They don’t make sense.
I can’t comprehend.
Detached from what is real,
Only demons fill this space.
Haunted every night,
By what is never there.

I’m cute.
You’re cute.
Let’s get married and make stupid, naive babies.
They’ll have our beauty,
Next in line for our perfect genes.
Teach them to be artificial,
Shove dead hope down their throats,
and feed them to the wolves.
They’ll grow to be beautiful and empty.
Succeed at everything,
But their own dreams.
They’ll wander this earth,
a molded shell of what could have been.
Hey you, yes you.
I’m cute.
You’re cute.

Blinding noise fills my being,
There’s no room for my thoughts.
The peak of the night,
the time of our lives.
Sway to the beat, hands in the air,
Attempt to rid ourselves of this world.
Catch a ghost of my reflection,
staring back it says,

Where have you gone?
What have you become?

Her eyes, so empty.
The withering soul pleads,

You’re lost within this maze,
I’m losing my grasp.
Don’t drift any farther,
I can’t hold on anymore.

Turn away, banish the thought.
Skeptical and unconvinced,
But truth screams from the depths.
The cold seeps in,
Subconscious to conscious.
Just close your eyes,
Let this moment swallow us whole.
Escape from everything absolute,
Slowly suffocating from the absence.

I open my eyes in the morning,
A faint taste of a lost dream,
Still lingering upon my skin.

I dreamt you were beside me,
You held me so close,
Whispering the comforts of love,
Calming me.

I woke to find emptiness besides me,
You were no more real than
The smile upon my lips.

The very moment you see,
Her heart breaking inside of her.
The very moment you realize,
She will never be the same again.
The very moment her tears fall,
But she makes no sound.

That very moment,
When there's just no going back anymore.
