"suspicious" poems
**The band starts playing at a ***** and crowded backyard. Rebellious youth gather to cast their vote with the stomping of their doc martin boots. Beer cans everywhere, everyone's trying to let loose the raw stranglehold their society has produced. The guitars go off and the ritual begins. First they assemble in the heart of the pit. In the center individual tragedies bring fourth the wrath of a God's army. Anarchy you call it, Ha! I call it reassurance, reassurance that this anger is surely communal. I never saw it more clearer, the youth's power to resist: If the government wont hear us, we will create our own sound even under the batons of fascism, we spit on your rule, your control of our art. We wont bow down to a law with our names written all over it, while another politician walks free from corruption. While another officer guns down an un armed child and calls it self-defense. While suspicious mass shootings continue to occur and mass cameras grow in recording. While you send more people off to war for another countries resources. These thoughts explode out of me into shoves, screams, ****** cuts, reckless behavior, and then finally release. Pure psychiatric release.**

The Pit
The landlord rented his space. The landlord became suspicious. He received complaints from other tenants, Within a couple of weeks about loud music And laughter coming from her room. Banned from having friends in their home, People would arrive in a van nightly during the summer. The details of which emerged in the trial of insurance businessman, Who was accused of helping her, Without their knowledge. She accused the abuse after a plea. His mercy, Her punishment. ‘The past is still very much a reality’ she whimpered. Forced to watch for five months, The wolf spoke as she faced the hearing Without a translator. They are forbidden to speak. For her first 23 years, she was tortured. Anti-social behaviour is having more than two people in his head, Playing music so loud, That it can be heard, Outside of him. The only person to feel the same resigned. The landlord asked the hound to verify the affair. He handed two leather-bound volumes containing a map of the marks. It was on that day, The landlord took the decision to leave seriously. Once known, He made the claim and gave no hint as to the tenant’s identity. Up for a chance to win, We wish you safe travels.

I Like you Carrot Cake I tried to make you but I just can't bake In fact, I'm a little bit addicted Because I can't pass by you without my brain screaming EAT IT! You see, I've been offered other cakes But I've never cheated so when you're not around please don't be suspicious There's no other cakes for me You're simply too delicious I'm not a shallow kind of guy I love what's inside you But if you didn't look like carrot cake I never would have tried you I'm not being rude or nothing I'm just being honest Carrot cake I'm yours for now so please don't make me promise That I'll be yours forever...

My Heart and Mind had a discussion one day, About a man that they both knew quite well. The heated discussion continued for hours, Both with arguments meant to compel. A debate ensued between the two, With each taking a different perspective. The Heart believed the man to be true, And the Mind thought he was deceptive. Heart started the discussion with an obvious point, "He is sweet and gentle like no man before." Mind responded smugly, "That's great in the moment but how does he act after she's walked out the door?" Heart countered, already knowing the point being made. "Sure, he may not be able to write or call; He is busy with constant demands of his time. What he feels in his heart matters most of all." "I disagree," and Mind continued to say, "Actions mean far more than words alone. It is when words and actions are considered together that a man's true feelings are shown." "He has to compartmentalize to get through the day." Heart continued to defend his intentions, When they are together his feelings are real, but her insecurities span many dimensions." "It's funny you would mention compartmentalizing. Apparently your memory isn't as sharp as mine, He was once quoted as saying this was not his strength, proof that his statements don't always align." "You are cynical, suspicious and guarded." Heart was clearly tired of this dispute, "Those traits are clouding your judgement. He is genuine and telling the truth." "I think you are overlooking the obvious but I'll relax and stop doubting his intentions if he makes an effort to send a simple sign." Heart and Mind both wanting to prove their point and have the bragging rights of superiority. Mind sure that the man would disappoint her; Heart confident in his genuine sincerity. Both waited patiently for some type of gesture, Something to demonstrate that he really does care. Heart began to worry and whispered to herself, "Stay calm and trust that it's not just another affair." Patience prevailed and an email arrived, just as Heart had hoped and prayed. Mind, although disappointed by being proved wrong, was relieved and no longer afraid. Trust and calm filled her spirit when thinking of him, but it was both that won in the end. Maybe they were more than temporary lovers and could also be permanent friends.

Yet another day of pain was put behind, She lets out a sigh of relief as if the beast That stalks her is duped for now, once more. The last Metro train that night, slows down, stops. To return to her regular prison she gets in hurriedly. Emptiness bares it's fangs, that looked sweet in fact, In comparison with the experiences of the day gone. A suspicious bundle on the floor stirred at her touch, A frail women almost frozen, living dead, eyes sunken in sockets." How did you end up here?" she quarries. "I fainted, didn't eat anything, for the past few days" "Mother, you need to drink something hot quick. Come with me I'll take care" her eyes get moist. Then she smiles thinking how fortunate she is. "My share of sweet misery is here to teach me practice humility, even in an empty compartment"

Her Continuing Lessons in Humility
I speak in praise of the ******** yes, and as a male, I decline to be clandestine about this. The reason I so admire the ******** is that it's the female's key to being multiply ******** and frankly, I'm in awe of this. You see, the male ***** can't compare because, of course, it has a dual purpose.   It wasn't put there just for bliss, which is the only purpose of the ******** Males must just resign themselves to their dangling ganglia, the **** which is so easy to malign compared to the delicate paradigm of the **** and its remarkable economy of design. Now I realize that females may be suspicious of my focus on their ******** but actually, I think it’s ingenious.   My own discovery of this was serendipitous and propitious. You see? Really, I’m envious of the ******** because it's indefatigable and delectable, (I think she likes a little nibble), and anyway, there’s not much point in trying to distinguish between *********** and the ******** So there's my poem to the little **** with admiration and respect. I speak in praise of the ******** Truly. A gift for all of us.

Ode to the ********
Ripples riddle the mirror, Below, faint shapes shift Elegant forms float here and there, Little legs thunder, leaving a gentle wake in lieu of turmoil. The air is thick, the sun falling, Already lost behind billowing storm clouds Etched chaotically on the horizon. Invisible but for the ubiquitous light. It is the dragonflies time, A darting zip and an effortless flutter. From surfacing **** to towering Reed, Searching for something we can only pretend to know. Determined housewives, faces set, Arms pumping and hips swaying Their Anatidean waddle so fitting Their quacks, a wall of stereo. A lone rusted sign warns of gators, but of signs, there is that one alone. No rogue bubbles or beady eyes, no ticking of swallowed clocks, no suspicious splashes. nothing. My battery is now as low as the sun, and my pen is as empty. A not so subtle poke in the ribs from a universe in protest of the bad poetry being inked. c'est la vie or as we say in English **** it

A bench in the park
Not Particularly living up to his name, Fear stands with open arms, Welcoming me with a smile. He is Handsome. Standing tall with no suspicious qualities; Beautiful eyes carry no emotion, Crimson orbs, fiery yet tranquil. He is Kind. Like the boyfriend you've always wanted, He will embrace you with warmth, Completely faithful in your name. He is perfect. And yet, he is what flaws mankind. Stalking your mind, making you wish you could walk away from his embrace. He is persistent. Making you hesitate with decisions, Closing your mouth before you can speak, Making your eyes surge with eerie anticipation. He is aggressive. Knocking you over with ominous thoughts, Choking you, restraining your voice. Shackling you, turning you powerless. He isn't real. Conjured up by outside voices, By your own nature, and though you know that, he is more real than any person. He is Fear. And he will consume you.

"Freedumbs"
Machine ground days Somehow survived by clinging to precarious plans Die for those. For proles are stuck in a televised gleam but I’m barred from distractions I’m a man of action Spring healing: I found a new hope to get through the day It has a name and it’s you Workday: animistic curses against people and their systems and products except animals would escape forever as soon as they open the cage but we stay The beastly gnashings of overworked merchandisers for invisible self pocket stuffers The competition's getting to us, comrades I feel swindled out of my labor I was pregnant but they sold my child before I woke up Addressing the solipsism of my rehab circle: I’m Kagey, and my life is hazy but, blunted or no, let’s get this clear: don’t trust your senses and that goes for all my human peers Body is a cage full of defenses Still, I’m suspicious of reality whether it’s façade society or the wooden chair in front of me Still, I enjoy the virtual scenery I ain’t talking about on the T.V. or phone screen I mean the willows, buildings, and faces But all these mushy green acres are fakers blobs without our eyesight Still tho, me and the universe are tight.

Dear Fairy Godmother
I swear I'm not a stalker I just wondered where you lived How you dressed away from work And on your off hours what you did I know you think it's crazy I keep following you around Dressed  last week as a Dive Instructor This week as a Circus Clown I don't want you to get suspicious And perhaps call up the cops Last time it was I talked with them They looked at me as if I were nuts I enjoy watching you eat dinner As I count each delicious bite you take With my face plastered to the window A little disturbed you haven't introduced me to your date Let us just continue playing slyly He looks like the jealous type He wouldn't understand what it is we have Anyway pretty soon he'll be out of sight and out of mind We'll just go about our business Like on any other day You do whatever it is you do I'll follow every step you take Did I mention I wasn't a stalker? Just wanna make sure you heard Cause the last time it is I attempted this All the Doctors said that I was cured

I'm Not A Stalker
Staring at you from the corner of my eye There are hundreds seated here Still my vision strays across the line These feelings can't be right It's like the moon falling in love with the sun though they are a team, they can never be one Love can't be my might These feelings can't be right Why are you so scared to look me in the eye? I hate it when she looks at you with expectancy in her eyes I feel like destroying the worlds for you These feelings can't be right I know that I'm alone in this street Every part of myself I have left behind Because I know that mystery will always love darkness Though sunshine will be right by her side My wishes just seem so "Unright" I face the truth again - These feelings can't be right Now-a-days I stay away from you When you don't look at me, that is when I look at you When you don't hear me, I have said a thousand times ' I love you ' These feelings can't be right Every morning when I open my eyes And Sunshine strikes this porcelain skin from the skies A carnage of hope is all I visualize I roll down my sleeves to cover the scars My reflection whispers to me 'The mirror never lies' These feelings aren't right I wish I'd be able to stand in front of you And express what I exactly feel about you But I cannot set forth in that venture " The way is suspicious, the result uncertain, perhaps destructive." And if you ever know about this side of me The only thing that will come out of you will be " These feelings can't be right " Beyond the precincts of his eyes Everything seems to be delusional his eyes have the power my foes could **** for - to rip my soul apart every minute Every second of my life And I'm reminded again- These feelings can't be right But now that I've realized These feelings can't be right I am sure That today is the first day of the rest of my life ...

Folds, fur, creases and greases on your clothes Have you had a nice breakfast? No, no, it doesn't seem so. You've had a bad day since you've risen from your bed. Your hands are shaking and don't even notice it, Probably because of the nicotine hidden in the left pocket of your jacket. Ahh! Shut up! You were thinking! It's annoying! Get out! Get out! I need to go to my mind palace! Also, if you think that I'm a psychopath, I'm just a high-functioning sociopath. With your number! -smiles- Oh, John Watson? You've got a limp from your last war from Afghanistan. Your hand stays steady when you're suspicious or feel like you're being threatened. Hmm, you like the battlefield, don't you, John? Ahh, you can be my colleague! Come on, John! Wait, what? Who are you? The name's Sherlock Holmes and I live on 221B Baker Street. And, I'm a consulting detective who uses, The Science of Deductions

Sociopath, not psychopath.
There was a man on the bus today with hostile eyes... steely blue and suspicious. The thirty something woman across from me; with black eye and split lip, her's were wet with tears and fear. A young couple only had eyes for each other. Glistening with love and desire. The bigot’s eyes were all a glower; hostile and condemning... The couple was interracial. The old woman’s eyes tired with many years, looked back with memories and forward to release. The little child’s eyes wide with wonder took everything in, grist for the mill. As I wander from face to face, I wonder what stories my eyes offer?

Their Eyes
Feeling out of place Craving for familiar faces Longing for warm welcomes Aching for the sense of belonging Trying to keep it together Defeated? Isolated? Anxious? Not at all! A warrior of light never gives up A warrior of love is never alone But a warrior is always challenged Invited to look within It isn’t easy to start a new Walking through unknown paths Holding faith very tight Allowing patience to guide the way Embracing contentment until the end Sometimes loneliness is suffocating Patience runs out Faith is nowhere to be found And contentment seems a fairy tale Wondering on and off On all I know Doubting anything Suspicious of everything Breathing in and out Reconnecting with the self Acknowledging who I am Displaced… Learning… Growing…

Just a story. When I was a kid... yes there was a time I was a kid, the garden was just South of the house.  Mom and I worked in the garden a lot.  Sometimes when she was not in the garden I would lay between the carrot rows, pull a carrot out of the sandy soil, brush off the sand and have a very fresh yummy carrot.  They were soooo tender they seemed to melt in my mouth.  Anyway, when I was finished eating the carrot I would put the top back into the hole.  No one was the wiser.  No one knew the difference or so I thought.  I did notice the carrot top would wilt which looked a little suspicious but... there was a gopher problem so maybe the gophers ate the carrots.  Sounded like a good story to me.  "Did the gopher eat the carrot mom?" "Yes probably so." I found out years later.... Mom knew who the gopher was.  BUSTED. I was telling this story to my grand daughter Lucy after school one day.  Her eyes brightened up and said, "That is a funny story grandpa."  So here it is added to the memories of a grandpa.  Lucy keeps telling people, strangers even, "you should hear this. Grandpa tell them about the carrots."  The story has latched onto her 5 year old brain and won't let go. So... the next time you are eating a carrot... don't fib to your mom.

I look with worried eyes, at social Vines, of flashing lights and a lack of rights. Human compassion is lacking where it needs to be. Hate feeds off of hate, but if thats all it takes, then **love should come so easily.** Bashing in windows. Spraying with mace. Choking to death. Eliminating race. Classes are gone, So classless mistakes, are now made daily at the hastiest rate. We’re starving and hungry for the tastiest taste, of what has become the most delicious most suspicious, vicious, fishy, repetitious, superstitious, vision named freedom. It's naive to think we’re free when all that we see, is a sea of beings not being one thing, and that’s free. When was the last time you felt it? And we’ve been given a life long song and dance of "whoever smelt it dealt it". So if you took the feeling of now and held it, bottled it up and shelved it, you would open up to find your mind in decline. This moment was better while laters behind. Thats the path that we’re on but we have control. We’re not egos and clothes, we’re people of souls We're humans of thought Not students of hate. Evil got a head start, but now truth is in the race. And if truth is in your face, and you choose to look away, then get used to the abuse and not confused at truce-less fates. The pre action of action is thinking to act. I'm thinking that actually we’re ready to snap. They’ve bent us too far, for us to go back. The past is a place where patterns attack. And people are put no matter the facts. Police are afoot demanding the last, of freedoms they take them, and **** them with gas. A historical scene on Kentucky blue grass these colors don't bleed, yet we see they fade fast. We’ve exceed the need, to keep things intact.
