Joshua campbell Mar 2018
The heavens declare her beauty, the sun bows before the night.
The stars they envy, as they beg her eyes to behold their light.

The moon reflects the fire,
that burns within her soul.
Quenching nights desire,
with its enchanting glow.

Her heartbeat echoes,
in the still of breathless night.
Leading an arrangement,
of sacred lullabies.

The willows cease to weep, as they surrender to graceful sway.
Lulled by the sounds,
of midnight serrenade.

Our souls embrace,
beneath the moonstained sky.
Just for a moment,
suspended in time.

Then as the mist upon
still waters fade.
She disappears,
into the dawn of day.
