in the not too far distant future I imagine
there will be an heir to a space exploration
fortune who will abandon his rich
Abu Dabi lifestyle
to go live on Mars
the angry red planet where he will paint
in zero gravity & sell his products to
those of his class for hundreds of millions of dollars in bitcoin who are too scared of space
on Mars a subculture develops to rebel against the
sanctimonious poets in deep space but space travel is as convenient as hitching
a ride on a passing satellite & the poet
decides to go on a one-way trip while
high-class
go-go bars dot the Martian surface as the affluent leave the transmitting
his thoughts & musings
back , soon other s follow daring to lay
witness to deep space while sending
poetic odes in various languages
all through space
hoping for a chance encounter w/ an alien race
w/ poetic sensibilities; that and back on earth women
& girls strip & tease for money;
in space so long & so far out all he has is a
vintage collection of PLAYBOYs from
1955;
that's what he thinks
of women as blows past
supernovae & galaxy clusters,
seeing massive black holes
& cobwebs b of black energy;
strange planet's
plumes & eerie astral phenomena
& as he recites his epics he still thinks
the ideal woman looks
like the 11 *******
centerfolds from 1955;
establishing this as the poetic ideal
of womanhood; meanwhile on earth
women have to be ten times smarter
than the blood
thirsty death mongering
men who ****, **** & eat w/out language;
so the poets
odes go unheard except
by the rebellious underground scenes on Mars where the
woman try to dress like mid-1950's *******
centerfolds walking around stark naked
b/c the planet is so hot & steamy &
polluted that they where transparent cellophane -
like clothing to protect their dry, pale skin;
the poets who manage to go into space
will never go know that humanity sank into
back to earth rank barbarism leading to
the decimation
of any form of civic or even civil culture; n o place
l eft u nupturned & looted,
recolonized
& blistered w/ bombs & artillery in a
global Allepo w/ no refuge except into
**** & ******;
peace only a poet's dream
