The hummingbird is who she is, the butterfly is her other side. Both have wings to take her high, where many dare not go. Fly high both counterparts, go and spread what you truly know, your sweet nectar within you hold, to the few who cherish and want of you. Pollenize, you shall see, that the one who feeds of you, will taste your sweet nectar that flows out. Out of many they will grow to be the one strong enough to let you fly. Knowing you come back to flow in them.

In these first days of fall
the trees prepare for their journey into winter
summer’s green
yellowing.

Honey bees buzz the sage
enter its majestic green body
through the sweet portal
of its magenta blossoms
for one last deep drink
of nectar.

My winter approaches
may I imitate my brother bees
maximize what sweetness
there is in my small world
and pollenize
where I can.
