"outstandingly" poems
Anticipation, say it s-l-o-w-l-y
Allow it to linger, feel it wholly
Place your heart upon your hand
Or the other way around
Hand over heart
Feel, hear, see your flesh pound
Rhythmic chaos contracting inside
Expectations building, rising
Higher and higher (along with anxiety levels)
Anticipation is a rude guest
Overstays his welcome, always outstandingly overdressed
Beckons silly fantasies to sit next to him on the couch
Leaves drops of contemplation on the carpet
Broken hearts, shattered expectations
Or best case scenario, a dream come true
Beautiful visualizations of contentment
The joy of fulfilled hopes
No sensation equals receiving
All the ideas you dare to believe
Can a cranium explode from the pressure of a hundred- thousand untamed thoughts?
The agony of uncertainty
Being in the pitch dark
Only speculations
No actualities
Merely the human imagination

something unexpected yet so ordinary happened
last night
it made me wonder how exactly and
why exactly
the ordinary parts of my life are often so
extraordinary
that extraordinary, to me, has to be more than
exceptionally marvellous and nowhere near far from
outstandingly incredible
some people call it high standards,
like the top step of the ladder
I thought
last night was incredible
because you kiss exactly like how I kiss and the shock fluttered
like bits of confetti and glitter on my tongue and lips and
all over my goosebumpy skin
the cadency of my heart was somehow simultaneously
rampant and rested
my body fully invested
in yours
my body completely suggesting
it’s yours
to touch, to make feel good, to adore
the divine woman, curved and open
eyes and skin glowing
arousal growing
bodies non-existent, spirit flowing
exceptionally marvellous
I jitter in silence, knowing myself
and patterns alike
I try to throw away this burdening muddy stick of
I-always-end-up-getting-sick
of things eventually
but obviously
it’s easier to neglect the fact
that this stick is a boomerang
and it always comes right back

Boys in a brick labyrinth
retired structure
two boys coming to age
bricks, bricks, bricks back to their first days
Hallways like blood veins through their body
like gold veins through this cold mine
They know them intimately
seemingly with no ending
Left right left left: a drummers paradiddle
stairs up, stairs down, chambers and iron gates
vast expanses, great pillars stand guard
Sentinels of the brickyard
Miles, unfathomable tons of red rock
The Courtyard sky so blue and so outstandingly high
Summer nights under endless whites
the bricks outnumber these lights
Hide and seek like you've never seen!
never stray too far
count to 50 - ready or not
There's always a new spot
Boy hides and boy seeks to find
footsteps echo off of every. single. brick.
Imagine his face, the boy with blonde hair
as he runs around the corner and finds a girl standing there

long after you’ve logged off,
the screen, now, just room temperature,
no longer warming plate hot, a good feeling lingers,
the glowing, slowing remains of our days first visitation,
reducing to a single dot, fading gunshot message, but unstated:
*”I was here, but moved on,
I am your first, yet you, are not mine...”*
the Dylanesque mystique, mystifying, mind-burring,
in the air hanging, those words sticky stuck in your craw,
ear worm ya, until, you utter rush, desperate to return,
shoot, what was that poem, its title, the author, ****
on what-was-that-poetry-site’s-name?
Hello Poetry! and now it’s too late, you’re not entranced,
no darling, you’re entrapped, fly glued to my sticky heart,
you, served raw, with the hook, line and sinker still attached,
you, my friend, are now my poet ****** my belonging, for
fourscore and evermore there is no cure, no cutoff, no resisting.
fresh meat for the poets beat, and you still have not even tasted
the salt water words, the rhymes that will tie up, and prolapse
your heart ******* in the love poems, ha, so when they ask what’s
the name of your new friend, the one that you are keeping so secret, tell them, shyly, bravely, whispering outstandingly, upright, shouting forthrightly: it’s me, Brandy Channing, and your soul is now mine to keep...for as long as deemed necessary to extract my ****** poems essence, so be my parasite and I will be you mistress, the mutual infection meaning but one thing! we, you and I, will live always apart, always together, yes darling, be distressed, you’re oh so blessed now, and
f o r e v e r....but tattoo these words upon your bicep lest one forget,
I am your first, you, are not mine

outstanding
i do not research the words's etymology,
for it might steal it's magic from me,
you take me to different places different nights,
in shoes that hold eyes that see those sights.
that I cannot, though perhaps commonplace,
they are
out standing of my welds experience
so i, we, are voyeurs to a moment of humanity,
and i am out side, outside my body, in your visions,
out standing, near by, by words, moved by words,
composed outstandingly…
and now under~standings achingly transport me to
where you have been/seen
and send us

10 BEAUTIFUL POETS LIST/CHALLENGE
Hi there. I think you are beautiful people and poets if your name is on this list.
Here is the list.
There are more and I have done another one like this but if I just paste every poet I like on this site's name then it doesn't meant anything there are too many so I'm going to post later ones with the names of the poets I really like but I'm going to limit it to ten per post.
I strongly suggest you check out their poetry because it is amazing.
The order of the names has nothing to do with the quality or my favor they are all equally loved by me in different ways for their work which is all a different shade of beautiful.
I invite everyone to post a poem with 10 beautiful poets' names on this site that people should check out.
Yet another one of my challenges. If you do the "10 Beautiful Poets Challenge" add "10beautifulpoets" as a hashtag so people can find it.
Also feel free to message me if you post one of these so I can check them out too :)
Just a great way to let people know about specific beautiful poets out there.
Include something about their poetry specific to that poet beside their name. :)

sometimes i smile, sometimes i cry.
sometimes i fall, sometimes i fly.
i was cheerful and jolly yesterday,
i am frustrated and silent today.
right now i love scrolling down some of my selfie ,
later I'm gonna be like "jeez, it's creepy"
sometimes i enjoy someone's company,
but in the end I'm leaving you lonely.
I'm gonna be you're pretty lover,
2days, 3days, of course it don't last forever.
i would never accept one's apology,
if i do it's one in a million history.
firm decisions i would never have,
i wouldn't always fly like a dove.
being normal is out of my vocabulary,
i love playing puzzles and solving mystery.
falling down, failures. i can't do it, I'm not fine.
but then I'll stand up crossing each and every line.
my mama said i am a princess,
i said, no! i am a servant your highness.
i am enjoying the life of being the FAMOUS.
oh please wake up, it's kiddy fictitious.
i could be outstandingly number 1 if i wanted to.
but it's lonely up there and boring too.
yes, yes, it's annoyingly annoying.
no, no, i am practically enjoying.
i am the weirdest, the forever alone silent type and shy,
tik tok tik tok, a few minutes later it's flaming a fun on fire.
though i am bossy and command you all.
i am your catcher from a baseball.
all day i would draw and write and write,
snapping out to reality i am sleeping up so tight.
just a week, a day, an hour, a minute, or a second,.
what I'm saying is people won't stick around like mighty bond.
people won't stay as they are so perfectly.
unless they're perfect enough to stay consistently.

Whenever it feels like
I'm surrounded by four walls of stress,
In your Dear arms, I find fortress
I feel snug, enwrapped in Your Word
Each and every line gives me comfort
I feel that my strength is renewed
And I'm pumped with grace to face
Anything and prevail outstandingly
Your Word never cease to ease me
That's why I call Your Word my renewer
A light that gives no room to darkness
My companion that can never be replaced.

Crap we buy,
**** we sell,
To get by,
What the point,
Don't ask why,
These actions adjoin,
Together a lie,
Collaborated by few,
Believed by many,
All is true,
To those blind,
How it happens,
Seems surreal sublime,
A fictional story,
With no hero,
But the glory,
Satisfaction is there,
Is a shame,
None can hear,
The screams everywhere,
Flooding the streets,
With no prayer,
Ever being heard,
On deaf ears,
Most outstandingly absurd,
Is their mind,
To really seeing,
The thin line,
Of quality equality,
Life of peace,
Not of brutality

Fainting desperately into nothing
I found my something
Aboard a train cross-country
But I was surely running
Away from myself and that horrible reality I realized
Triangles and circles
Spelling out my future before my eyes
Like a puzzle I did not have to decide-
The pieces fell into place
In their own pace
Handless mindless motions
Mona Lisa smiled at me
All astrology gazed down for me
Finding me on my righteous path to glory
And the moon willed itself
As my godmother
It’s true ancestor, gleaming
Heart outstandingly beating
I, it’s horrible hot-minded child-
Only a teen, yet it knew me all at once
And accepted me
For who I really was.
My past rewrote itself
My present formed:
No tears, no mistakes
The world helped me find my rightful place
Amongst all the other familiar faces
I could see myself in a crowd of millions, billions
Differentiable at long last
Even better, if only I could find that one person to hold tight
And taint with my loving grasp.

Imagine if you were truly happy with yourself. How many things you could accomplish just knowing you're capable.
Imagine your own business that is outstandingly successful, and you are pursuing your passion.
Imagine if your home was how you wanted it to be, and imagine if your garden actually began to grow.
Imagine you have the cutest dog, and picture its billions of toys and puppy sweaters.
You can perceive anything you want, but it's about making it a reality.

The Computer Age is outstandingly superb
It opens the world for those who care to be heard
Allows the meek to speak
In words that may
Possibly reach into a violent heart
At a moment when it is weak
And guide to retreat
Imagine if only we could
Achieve this peace
If all who have been reserved in the past
Began to use the internet
To show the world
Fainthearted, fearfulness
Will not last
Join together with others
Show the world that PEACE
Is our STRONG stand
Use the internet
As a guide for this plan

I can't go backward.
So I must go forward.
I see nothing outstandingly exciting.
Last year was a blissful time.
Is that because I was ignorant?
Ignorant of what could be?
Ignorant of what I could lose?
Ignorant of what I could gain?
Now I think:
This,
This is what’s meant to be.
Come at me like a roaring lion,
I can take you.

as candles
make the altar,
a day's observance
flickers a
foreknowledge
of night.
the way its
outstandingly
bright breadth
seems to blink.
unable to adjust,
to what cannot be
promised to be
sustained.

Camilla owes her crown to Diana.
If Diana had been a traditional royal Spouse
She’d have turned a blind eye to Charles’s betrayal
And just enjoyed the perks of Queenhood.
But - alas - she loved that perfidious son-of-a-monarch
And couldn’t abide being only his *******
Had not she stormed away from that Sovereign Throne
Madam Parker Bowles would have had to remain
The grasping and greedy, outstandingly common
***** that she was and will ever remain.
And Charles could have then joined in the very long line
Filled with unfaithful Kings and their cheated-on queens.
