"nepotism" poems
No legacy is as rich as honesty to leave behind
No asset is as great as honesty that enriches mind
No voice is as powerful as honesty, your heart to guide
No word is as meaningful as honesty to swell with pride.
One who adheres to principle and facts , is honest
One who loves for-what-than-who-you are , is honest
One who inspires to be fearless and upfront , is honest
One who dares to raise voice against injustice, is honest
In actions ,words and dealings -be clear and transparent
Corruption,bribery,flattery and nepotism-be always against
Greats endure pain to follow righteousness, however difficult
On life’s tight walk ,do not crave to strike rich without sweat.
Win over lies, deceit ,treachery with love, respect and fair play
Honesty is a jewel that shines-shines brighter, rest fades away
Honesty is a bitter pill to gulp, gulp you must to lead the way
Quality than Quantity of life matters most,at the end of the day.
A child should be taught to be honest at a very early age
Set an example by emoting honesty at every step and stage
Honesty instils compassion ,concern, credibility and courage
It is a virtue that differentiates between a devil and a sage.
Stakes may be high ,don’t ever compromise on values
A Right can never ever be Wrong ,however one views
Forever under HIS scanner, keep hands clean and heart true (HIS ...GOD)
Give best to the humanity the best will come back to you.

I have eyes
But I don't see what I don't like
I have ears
But I won't hear what I don't want to hear
I have a memory
But only remember what's convenient
I have thoughts
But I keep them in safe cages
I have a mind
But I refuse to change it
And so, you see
Let rhetoric over-rule logic
Let fake news obscure truth
Let corruption replace propriety
Let bluster confound reason
Let nepotism overcome merit
Let democracy be obliterated
As long as I don't have to admit I was wrong

You three believe in creating scarcity,
NOT union.
You build HOV lanes for your luxury cars,
caring less how efficient they are.
They roll royce cross your game board,
fuming trails of money.
Bell Atlantic bought Madison Avenue,
you bought all the properties.
Now tenants can't avoid
the traffic or the noise
of an internet rolled in palms
and diced
spiraling
to speed limits
...
...
...
...
and red highways
...
...
...
...
and orange traffic cones that
block hybrid cars,
already swerving
to avoid bankruptcy.
We
STOP
the
STOP
people
STOP
moving,
our preamble crumbles to a
STOP,
becoming a eulogy —
an ideal dumb to power trippery,
after Time Warner and Comcast merged,
allies on opposite sides of the game board.
Verizon, Comcast, AT&T;
together you own pretty much
everyone but Fox and Disney,
(yet have invested in them heavily).
Verizon, Comcast, AT&T;
your oligarchy is
NBC, Universal, CNN, Warner Brothers,
and now FullScreen,
family-friendly nepotism
that inbreeds bearing
deaf drones bored of flying,
over
Why Beyonce is a Feminist.
or
Why Ferguson was racist,
media's offspring
just keep clicking,
the headline genocide victims
basking in concentrated lamps
for a sliver of attention.
Verizon, Comcast, AT&T;
Now you want the backend buffering,
bulging eyes and emptying pockets
of those Spocked into believing,
hyperspeed was ever necessary.
No choice when the exits are slow
and there are no backroads.
Verizon, Comcast, AT&T;,
offspring of the
Bell Atlantic Company,
we will not let your
****** populate the internet.
Call it Capitalism,
but your playing Monopoly,
yanking the carpet underneath
to the wood of Tyranny.
You shamed
Bell's invention
by stringing together
telephone
internet,
and
entertainment companies
until you could be lazy.
Monkeys who spent millions
to shriek at government parties
about the communication machine,
a system downloaded so slowly,
we
did
not
act
on
cons
piracy
theories,
when Amazon made online shopping so easy.
Dear Internet Service Providers,
so called ISP's,
WE ARE DONE playing Monopoly.
Our collective voice
will shout blasphemy
on your streets,
hashtagged
net neutrality,
till you're counting pennies.
So empty your Washington banks
cause it's 3 a.m. and
no ONE is winning.

A ship sustaining
A tiny crack or thick
Is destined to sink,
Awaits the same story
A pilferers-leached country!
All the grotesque
Faces of corruption—
Embezzlement,bribery,red-tape
Nepotism
Task procrastination
What is more inefficient
Resource utilization—
Must not go out of
A developing
Nation's radar,
Expected corruption to bar
In its bid to spur
The ship of development far!
Needs no less attention
Fighting the new faces of corruption
Such as post placement
By political affiliation
Divorced from talent,
Which should enjoy
A greater weight!//

Went to film school, want to be a filmmaker still
My dream unfulfilled, but still unfolding
I look at what used to inspire me: magazine articles about
the great directors. always male. even today. I used to want
to be the female version. Not anymore
The New Yorker has a piece on one
Describes the process: a demanding scene where
Julia Roberts walks down a street and then gives a LOOK
This is not drama. drama is conflict. the new yorker doesn't know this
describes the making of "art" as the shot is repeated with different LOOKS
It's all taken so seriously: a large photo of the ARTIST on the facing page
He has four o-clock shadow times a few days. this is the look of a filmmaker
you will see it in the second half of the semester at any film school
and he looks worried, intense, confused...gassy? artists are never happy
is life a pretty picture? the artist knows this and cannot, will not smile
Later, "the Brille Building," in New York. wow. a building with a name no less
a building where many films are edited, have been edited over the years.
a sweatshop for editors of picture and sound, and a place for the director
to continue, now out of the shadow of the STAR
He's using a lot of profanity now. Just because he's an old white geek don't think
for a minute he ain't kool, he ain't street.
Actually, go ahead and keep thinking that, because you're right
Amazingly enough, he, from his heights of artistry, is slumming it with take-out
Oh, the dedication. Oh, the fear of ever leaving the building and being reminded
there is a whole world outside that doesn't care about you
His brother is the editor (no, don't say there is nepotism in this business, it's your imagination)
They review the shots of THE LOOK
There are many takes and now, this director who adapted someone else's novel
to the screen now claims, he wrote it. Really. It is all his.
Yes I still love making films but I've never loved the biz
And as I get older, the more I think that real artists don't get written up
in the New Yorker with such verve because they'd think it was just too silly

They met out of mutual appreciation
towards their artistic expressions,
becoming slaves of free will;
incarcerated within their choices.
She wanted to be with him
to follow his footprints, no matter, wherever;
even if the journey led to Hell.
His fingerprints smudged deeply upon, her soul.
She said three words that left him devastated;
Her lips now covered with silence. Sitting in limbo
trying to make sense of it all.
A moonless night conceals the reasons.
She still writes about those moments;
delving into those times to reveal whatever
she missed about herself.
Changes flowing between life and death;
acuity erased by emotions. The long walk
along the path of understanding.
The images within her mind portray a song,
fading like forgotten lyrics.
She lingers upon the corner of exposed
intimacy; pricking her finger on the
point of fallacy.
Small drops of crimson nepotism
releasing clarity. The lessons
smeared within the inked blots
interpreted inconsistently.
She forgot the meaning of her poetry;
her passions defiled within the filthy
knowledge. Crying for days, it was all
she could do to remember.

Just like all the nepotism today,
Narcissism is wildly popular-
In fact, it's good.
You should only care for yourself,
Forget about any platonic love for others
What use can you derive from them?

Tony
was an attorney,
torn between his morals.
He could close cases cleanly,
no matter
the quarrel.
But his impeccable
character
creates a dilemma;
Tony always noticed,
as he sat down for dinner,
defeat,
nepotism,
ignorance abound.
Astounded that injustice
was easily found.
As label managers
drugged
and *****
judges
excused it,
by calling it
fate.
Men lording it over
with promotions in their pants,
while Trump's on TV,
with his bigoted rants.
Tony feared
for the future,
mutual destruction was near.
In fact it's
probably probable
it happens this year.
He wanted
to vent pent up feelings,
so he
refused the judge's
shady dealings.
He lost cases
but not cause,
won activist's applause.
For the rights of the ignored,
he'd draw attention to the laws,
that were
unfair or
unjust.
With his heart and his soul,
Tony
won our
trust.

My ego is intact, I stole **** from work and my mom isn’t disappointed in me.
I got papers, I got coffee, I got a lot of sleep, I read about that boxer got shot in the head [incidentally] and they said;
“You can’t keep a good man down for long.”
So I’m trying to find out what is “a good man”? Was it the hit and run I saw, or the fathers pushing their kids as products for their success? My high school class, or pretentious friends, or my managers cozy in jobs supported by nepotism calling me lazy, maybe my half dead beat father who kicked me out when I was 18 and convinced me I’d be an alcoholic if I ever drank.
Now your cleaning my ***** out of your sink and holding me and telling me I’m so good.
Maybe it’s my landlords who I never see, trying to evict me, or all the police officers who put like a hundred bullets in those folks car, or every guy who dished out a backhanded compliment to a girl who already cuts, or maybe, I know, it’s the president of the United States.
I paint my face red with lipstick and wait for the chatter of a crowd to turn into a riot of bodies. I sparkle in the light. I scream.

s superfluous to the realms of your imagination
I am not the demon on your procrastination
In tongues I do not speak
I do not prey on the young or weak
I cannot cover my eyes in case I fall blind
My head is weak, my heart is kind
My awkwardness is muted by inappropriate delusions
Which are bespelled by your inadequacy and illusions.
And we paint so many pictures of mystique and rhyme,
Which fade and digress over time?
Fear and nepotism paint over your face;
Once was beautiful but fell from grace.
And people are troubled by love and attention
And we never let our heart sink by detention
There is not need, nor lust or body benign
And me, my love, my heart is not thus or thine
It is set free by that which is not disturbed
But by words and feelings perturbed.
And by wish or falter or running away
Every new sun sets on a dying day

If you take a chance and glance
Beyond that which is called
Extenuating circumstance.
You may see that the powers that be.
Seek justice ..but only for a system
That they rely on to maintain
. ......A status quo
A stagnant pool of nepotism
Slash latent schism
Where division...
....Trumps any decision
Where progress might find a foothold
Where justice demands they trust US
To control a destiny
Once promised on paper
That has been perverted
Diverted
Until it is now a point of such
Vehement derision
That stagnation seems so ingrained
That it's acceptance
Is as routine
As the gavels banging
Or the detention door clanging
That it should rattle
To the very core
Any citizen
Who believes in the idea of
Freedom ,human rights
And the pursuit of happiness
Reality is often a hard pill to swallow
Especially when the acidic water
Of the shrinking pool
That we all inhabit.. has...
...Stopped breathing
And is slowly dying
While some keep denying
That anything is wrong
No need to believe
That trouble looms
On the horizon
So choked with smoke
That the sun struggles to deliver
Any promise --dusk or dawn
And troubled waters rise up
In rebellious consternation
Spilling into unfamiliar places
As it chases
Destitution onto higher ground
Of desperation
And alienation
Revelations will soon dictate
Maybe way ..way ..too late
That hesitation is becoming as absolute
As inspired introspection is becoming obsolete
The status quo is all they know
Those who have the power
To pull the world together
But haven't got the will power
To do anything
That might cause them
To take a chance and glance
Beyond that which we call
An extenuating circumstance.

Did not want to go now ..
Why did you go without saying anything, you did not have to leave now
Life had just started, which still had to be decorated
You laughed at your characters and sometimes made you cry
Bollywood's few entitles put you to death
In this city of discrimination, you must have suffered so much pain
It would have been difficult to identify only on the basis of talent
Just, from that moment you would fight, the moment you broke
Desperate, disappointed and disgusted with the Hyatt
You were a lively person, you had to settle on the moon
Why did you go without saying anything, you did not have to leave now
Kangana opened this secret herself some time ago
Only he spoke against brother nepotism
Nobody noticed his sharp words
Nepotism dealers again hunt a new one
In the conspiracy of these frivolous people, not to erase themselves
Why did you go without saying anything, you did not have to leave now
It's not ****** it's suicide, you should get justice
No Sushant again, no more calm
He has gone silently, now be a little ashamed
Stop this dark business of nepotism in Bollywood.

Some budding minds of larvae
become slaves to indoctrination
holding ransom to their morals
with mundane anticipation.
Ants and Bees take to the streets
dragging dignity through the trip
while sharks above hound them
discipline at the crack of a whip.
The struggle of paying to work
catches the children by surprise
though the nature of nepotism
gives others meteoric rise.
Ragged, they stay warm
through the fires of finance killing
so that the glutenous worms
can feed off the standard of living.
And those who live in glass mansions
have their view clouded by rain
as they look down at the masses
with contempt and disdain.

Mind so jumbled,
I’ve forgotten how to speak
words that can complete the thoughts
that fill each lobe of my brain with
terror.
I got so comfortable
in this new existence,
I forgot there are still hardships left.
A lump in my larynx makes breathing stiff,
Unsteady beats pulse in my neck
through a throat that’s quickly closing.
I should stop being surprised by
the chatter I hear,
the defamations,
the deceit,
the dishonesty,
but I don’t know how to comprehend
a human being
who acts so inhuman.
We are supposed to be a complex species,
unique in our ability to show love and compassion,
to place others ahead of ourselves,
to act from a heart that can understand
the immensity of a tear shed
out of sheer benevolence,
but all I’ve experienced
from the spectral bluster
of a web where the spider lies
is an animalistic need to please
one’s own desires
to the point of pathological nepotism.
Dear Lord,
just steady the drum in my chest
as I fold my hands to pray.

To the Lonely Lunaticks -->
Have no worries - I'm ONE with you,
Although myn diagnosis was Miss-Directed,
Supposedly for myn own sake;
But I have my doubts about Others motives.
I'm against Ostracism -->
I'll play Devil's Advocate to save a Soul.
I'm against Nepotism -->
Jobs should go to boys and girls of equal capacity (not always Blood).
I'm against Cronyism -->
F**k your mates at the expense of competent workers.
I'm against Elitism -->
Who the F**k do you think you ARE?
Just because You have an Expertise,
Doesn't mean You're the Arbiter of Truth.
I'm against First Impressions -->
Primarily because they are normally Wrong!
[Besides, it's 1st impressions that the CON-DAMNS!]
I'm against Repression of Free Will -->
Dissent is a Natural response to Wrong!
However, not all Free Speech is Healthy;
Neither for Individuals, nor Society at large.
I'm against the Non-Humourists ==> Killers of Fun & Happiness & Curiosity.
{Personally, while not always in good taste, I don't think Humour should be held to any Taboos}.

The game is still on
The race is me
It is ours to run
To fight against racism
A prejudice beyond acts
Discrimination above attitude
Reflected in systems and institutions
Preventing people from dignity
I learnt there is something we call "Human race"
We can't be humane with racial stereotype
Colour doesn't define us
As a person but who we are
We've had enough already
This is like an Olympic game
Not just for a race of black or white
Embodies other acts of harassment
Political stereotyping and gender activism
Ethnocentrism and nepotism
Can we stop this ism now!
Allowing human race transcend egotism
Reconceiving our race
And accepting tolerance and respect
Let's stop using humour to normalise racism
It's not funny perpetuating ugly stereotypes
Remember! We share a common history
Laundry is the only thing separated by colour

Dave slipped on a banana peel
And fell into an accusation of nepotism
And illegible label makers
This was the start of a losing streak
A stifling of his creativity, a hesitation of inspiration
So on and so forth
Cherry did somersaults
And watched the Doppler radar
Snorted lines off a shattered mirror
And quoted tongue twisters
In a car without safety belts
She was a contentious insect
With cauliflower ear
These two divorced a fort night ago due to irreconcilable differences
There was an upheaval in their relationship
After their lobotomies
Just one of the variables
There was pistol with only one bullet which caused them to fuss and fight
Then the argument who would be on top when they went to sleep in their bunk bed
A mahogany end table went through the window and a serpentine stream of blood oozed across the floor
It was an act of petulance on someone's part
Who ever it was got away through their underground passageway
All the connotations of the word "brash"
And gray porous creatures
Are mere trinkets of their die hard love

I survived K-12 schooling
I read and researched a lot
I went to political meetings
I investigated social ***
I met with some politicians
And then sterilized my hands.
Anyone who has ever met them
Will instantly understand.
Then an idiot ran for office
And I told myself he wouldn’t win
And that was when I wanted
The Big Do-Over to begin.
Because that idiot was picked
To be the Mutton In Chief
When it was widely known
He was a serial adulterer, liar,
Cheater, embezzler and thief.
He immediately set about
Instilling high dollar nepotism
By using his offsprings as proxies
And promulgating social schism.
He thinks he is the role model
Everyone else should follow
When someone else talks like that,
He finds them hard to swallow.
All he really wants is worship
Because he thinks he’s a god.
He doesn’t recognize he is crazy,
He can’t see his behavior as odd.
He’s the modern-day Caligula,
But he won't accept that of course,
Even though he has appointed
Crooks that are the back of a horse.
So, let’s have a do-over now!
Let's put someone trained in place
Of an overdress orangutan
With an big fat orange face.
Let’s put someone in there
That is and intelligent human.
Oh, I have an idea, everyone.
Let’s elect to the job a woman!

Fire, fire, countless fires
Fire of hate that nobody admires
Fire that hurts, maims and kills and innocent victims
Fire that burns, cremates and destroys many buildings
Fire that is misused
Fire that is diffused
Countries with more firepower rule
A gangster with a heavy fire is used as a fool
As a deadly instrument or tool to bully
To ****** and to eliminate potential enemies
Fires of hate, fires of hell that **** families
Fire, fires, uncontrollable fires on the sea
Fire, natural fires in California
Fire, deadly fires in Gaza
More fire, more power, more firepower
More power, more fire and more back-asswards power
Fire in the kitchen to cook gourmet food, delicious dinner
At the fancy cocktail hour
That’s my kind of fire, that’s good fire
Fire, fire, and ceasefire! Nobody wants war
Because war is hate, war is hell at the bar
War is nothing but an evil fire
War is not a game. War is not natural
War is a disaster. War is a man-made hell
War is a waste of human lives and resources
More water to **** all of fires and all sources
The world needs good fire to protect the environment
The world wants peace throughout the continent
God created One World, One People and One Race
And man invented division and many races in this space
Man created nepotism, money, hate, envy, discrimination
Terrorism, color, greed, betrayal, suffering and corruption
Fire, fires, ceasefire! We need rain, more water to quench the fire
We need Love to annihilate hate and more love to fire
The evil leaders that are destroying our World, our Universe
We want Peace and good fire for our World, for Our Universe.

In South Africa colonialism shake hands with racism
Nepotism dines with poverty.
Humanity is substituted by timidity thus fulfilled by grief and materialism.
Democracy swallowed suffering,
But the flavour must have been strong,
20 years later we still witness the after taste.
This day(June 16th) must mean only one thing to us youth,
If we sit back and pretend to be polishing our pots,
We will cook the pellets of the shinning ***
The crops are exploited out there...
