One after the other they spread
The possible names filling my head
Unmarked graves from after the war
The possibilities making my heart soar
4,5,6
How many people are buried you think?
The ground unfoot so soft that you sink
Piles of dirt, dying grass, and elm trees
Filled with soldiers who've traveled across the seas
7,8,9
The clouds cover the sky over head
My feet start to drag, heavy as lead
I march on forward as the clouds grow darker
Not a single grave has a marker
10,11,12
A figure looms in the distance
I pick up the pace and match his stance
"It's time?" I asked
The figure nodded, The grimreaper unmasked
13,14,15*
A new unmarked grave is found
They don't dare disturb the ground
My body lies inside, killed by the hand of death
I guess that's what happens when a guy plays with meath

My first step to quest, I seek county Clare
identity lost, me feel the sea air
In Ireland I stay, a man with no country
I wonder and wander county to county

From Doolin I sail, isles of Aran
Land full of stone so cold and once barren
The locals invite for coffee and tea
I wander and wonder, life by the sea

Next in my journey, find county Kerry
Crossing the Shannon, a trip on the ferry
In Ireland I stay, a man with no country
I wonder and wander county to county

Boat man gives lesson, ‘cross lake of learning
Dock by the Abby, I find peace of yearning
Grounds of Killarney by horse n carriage
I wander and wonder, great mountains marriage

I sit in The Oar House down by the pier
Howth to host, from far or from near
In Ireland I stay, a man with no country
I wonder and wander county to county

I spy an Irish rose, sit by the sea
I know her name, ne’er for me
Admire her beauty I sit from afar
I wander and wonder, who then we are

County Meath holds the once great Raith na Rig
Where the ancients had once all danced a jig
In Ireland I stay, a man with no country
I wonder and wander county to county

I climb atop hills where kings sat on high
Same place they lay once they say their bye
A place where high kings all came to pass
I wander and wonder whom we’ve lost past

I’ll take the rocky road, the only way to Dublin
Fore long I’m found, set with the pub kin
In Ireland I stay, a man with no country
I wonder and wander county to county

Here I will find the black liquidation
Ruby red pint to wrap up a nation
Feasting we drink and laugh about strife
I wander and wonder the glory of life
Chronicles of my holiday in Ireland, lost my passport not an hour after landing, hence the title.. Enjoy!

I was lost before SPG, I
could never read the spam,
when was at school.

NAVAN in County Meath
Ireland was the only place
in the country that made sense.

Before spell check was invented,
my writing was scrambled and
many of my compositions were
back words, the teacher told my
parents that I was a stupid fukin eejit.

Nowadays  they try to make us seem
a bit more intelligent by saying we suffer
from palindromic dyslexsickia, which
basically means you are a Neo ****.

When autumn brings light, the dark trees turn bright
Leaves of summer spring bring thy breeze to sway
On the gold summer fields, that passes day
As brooks nestling hope fill with rain tonight

As arid trees bear Sun's sudden delight
With humdrum in golden sunned rocky Meath
Shall come thy autumn's breath, misty with wreath
Yet, the grey, curled, stirring sky in all thunder dight

Its tumult rests in the wind, in the poetry of the blind
Such I hear, with ear to pain and sorrow
When thunder rattles windows, every night
Gently resting her head over morrow

As the leaves that have turned brown at the sides
Resting on the brook, trees have no swallows

The Drover

To Meath of the pastures
From wet hills by the sea
Through Leitrim and Longford
Go my cattle and me
