"irrationalize" poems
uncertainty has gotten the best of us both we sit in silence speaking a million words Shadows dance across the floor as our tongues fumble over the thoughts were too afraid to speak don't irrationalize the rational darling when heart beats tick in reverse we stumble over endings while dreaming only to transverse Follow me down the darkest hallway we'll come out where the light has crossed Only time can bring us answers now as we flee from apparent insanity and lie shameful in hope of something more but we can't irrationalize the rational darling when heart beats tick in reverse we stumble over endings while dreaming only to transverse This counterclockwise love affair has worn us far too thin so turn the hand and speak out because I'm ready to begin

Counterclockwise Lovers
I could be flying free Like a bird with its wings spread wide, Soaring in the wind. Instead I am chained by my thoughts. My irrational habit of constantly over thinking. In the back of my mind I know I can forget the world If I only tried. But then I continue. I continue to think on the matter Until I begin to once again Irrationalize. Until I decide that I will not fly. I will stay inside my box. Because my mind refuses to let me.

Disfluencies in thought irrationalize us all tis noted by philosophers, man’s historic fall ‘tis not in defeat we find ourselves born but with views of the future, and history forlorn ceaseless and restless is the toil, man must face each day for every single citizen, has debt that they must pay to earth, to man, to all the world, until they part their ways still less than insignificant each man’s song still plays to man we pay homage, in spirit and in song for without the men who guide our thoughts, we would surely be more wrong the stumbling paths men must take, for sake of being right is the same tale of humanity, in constant search for light on who we are, why we’re here, and does it really matter if happiness is not achieved, I wouldn’t take the latter so forth we stumble awaiting the next sure step towards love and to leave the disasters of the past.
