TO PUT the art and talent of Mindanaoan fashion design into the spotlight, Kagay’anon fashion designers put their hands together to organize the 5th Mindanao Fashion Summit at the Limketkai Center Rotunda from August 4 to 6, every 4 p.m. “Being a core event of the Higalaay festival, the opening salvo, the Mindanao Fashion Summit can really highlight fashion designers here in Cagayan de Oro and also in different points of Mindanao to let everyone see what they can do in the world of fashion design especially now that there are only so few opportunities for these designers to show off their works to the public. This is why we have the Mindanao fashion Summit because Kagay-anon designers believe that even if they join national fashion shows like the Philippine Fashion week, most of them still aren't getting the right encouragement as a fashion designer.” said Robbie Pamisa, the overall organizer of the event. The Fashion Summit is a three-day event composed of seven sub-categories such as the Mindanaoan collection, the Menswear collection, and the Ororama orange collection for the first day, the Guest Designers’ collection, the Fashion Institute of the Philippines collection and the Loop Lifestyle Fashion Show for the second day, and the Holiday Grand collection for the third day which will serve as the culmination of the fashion event. Mindanaoan Fashion designers from Cagayan de Oro as well as Davao, Butuan, Iligan, and Bukidnon have come to showcase their talents. Some of the fashion geniuses of the event include Alma Mae Roa, Angela Soriano, Ann Semblante, Benjie Manuel, Boogie Musni Rivera, Gil Macaibay III, John Mark Magellan’s, Joshua Guibone, Juniel Doring, Kiko Domo, Mark Christopher Yaranon, and Mavy Cooper de Leon. One of the highlights of the event is the Oro Fashion Designers’ Guild and the Designers Assembly featuring a collection of clothes using Mindanao material such as the Mindanao silk. Sponsors such as Ororama and The Loop Towers will also be showcasing their products in the fashion event. “Even student fashion designers from the Fashion Institute of the Philippines have been encouraged to participate so that they will be able to experience how a fashion show works. This is also a way for us to fulfill our mission to be another avenue for fashion designers to show what they have,” Paisa said.Read more at:http://www.marieaustralia.com/short-formal-dresses | www.marieaustralia.com/long-formal-dresses

Deep down in the inhospitable gloom Monterey Canyon welcomes an expectant mother Unnoticed in the distance a whirring sound and two parallel laser beams Miss Cellania finds a nook That instinct suggests is right A place to nest and brood A place to guard and wait 1.4 kilometers up a research institute Guided the unmanned submarine Correlated masses of data Stared at live video feed A unique event unfolded Capturing such a moment in this dark abyss Clinging to a vertical rock Her precious babies waiting to hatch Her final duty to Wait Wait Wait Wait Wait Protect from predators and the icy cold And so she began the Inky black wait Detached Alone The research crew returned later that year Miss Cellania dutifully kept her vigil They returned again month after month Still she stubbornly stuck to the task in hand The months turned to years And still she protected her unhatched young Clung to the same vertical spot With nothing to eat Alert, defensive Motherly Patiently waiting Wasting away Waiting Waiting Untill F i f t y t h r e e m o n t h s l a t e r Four and a half years Finally her wait ended With a flurry of independent life Then death.

Red Velvet has been lauded for breaking stereotypes among popular girl groups in South Korea, whose concepts tend to fall under two categories: "cute, or "pure" and **** to fulfill a certain fantasy; in a country where girl groups' fan bases are typically male,         according to Taylor Glasby of Dazed Digital, the majority of Red Velvet's fans are young women and commented that     "They {Red Velvet & ReVeluv} are neither **** nor innocent, the band's music videos are often dark, trippy, sinister, or haunting, even when they're flooded in pastel colors".       In 2017, IZE Magazine named the group as one of the successful female figures who helped transform the passive image of South Korean women at a time when feminism had risen as an issue in the country.    The group's music also sets them apart from other K-pop artists. K-pop idols in general suffer from a prejudice that they aren't considered real musicians by music critics. But because of the group's diverse musical inspirations and styles, these critics have since claimed that Red Velvet has pushed the boundaries of music in the early 21st century. In February 2018, Time magazine named Red Velvet as one of the best K-pop groups ever, highlighting their versatile musical styles; Red Velvet was recognized for their brand recognition and marketing power, having topped _'Girl Group Brand Power Ranking'_ published by the Korean Corporate Reputation Research Institute for three consecutive months. Red Velvet performed in Pyongyang on April, 1 2018. This made them the fifth idol group to ever perform in North Korea. They performed "Red Flavor" & "Bad Boy" at the East Pyongyang Grand Theater to an audience that included Kim Jong-un. The concert was billed as "Spring is Coming" and is part of a wider diplomatic initiative between the ROK & the DPRK

I read some poems on here That would just be up his street Scrooge would love so much to read How you all deal with defeat Not everyone, mind you, you know Just those, we all ignore you know ...the suicidal ones who are in ***** upon the floor i got dumped and i just want to **** myself ...they say if you write it down on here, i guess you won't do it anyway Scrooge would love the way They talk of copulation He'd just sit back and say Then let them reduce the population They threaten to go off the rails Though, I think some might be done They talk of doing things, slowly Have they not heard of a gun ? Scrooge would love the way they cry When they don't get their own way He'd be hooked on this, because you find Five hundred...every day He'd suggest we re-institute The mills and the poor houses So, he would have to listen to The stories of these louses A topic of importance would be Something, he would write of money, pestilance and then he'd say...GOOD NIGHT

Women Rising: Five Predictions for Women in the 2012 Workplace In Society 3.0, Dr. Wilen-Daugenti presents a compelling case for how women’s prospects in business are on the rise. Based on her research at Apollo Research Institute, she predicts that in 2012, women in the workplace will reach the following milestones: 1. More women will become leaders in the workplace. In 2012, 18 women will be running Fortune 500 companies—the highest number yet. This confirms a rising trend of women’s corporate leadership. The U.S. Government Accountability Office reported that in 2009, 40% of managers in the workforce were women. In 2010, women held 15.7% of board seats at Fortune 500 companies. 2. Women-owned firms will drive job creation and employment. Women business owners employ 35% more people than all the Fortune 500 companies combined. Women own 10.1 million U.S. firms, employing more than 13 million people and generating $1.9 trillion in sales as of 2008. 3. Women will obtain higher education in greater numbers. Women now earn more degrees than men, with graduates from all ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic groups racing past men in rates of completing programs of study. Women aged 25 to 34 are more likely to have a college degree and are more likely than men to go to graduate school. By 2012, women are expected to earn 60% of bachelor’s degrees, 63% of master’s degrees, and 54% of doctoral and professional degrees.

They say you don't understand, your life is perfect. But they don't understand. On the outside I live in a fairy-tale world where my parents live together and my father has a job and I am a straight a student. I have a house and food and I have siblings and people all around me. They say I don't have a reason to be sad but what they don't understand is the mirror is my worst enemy and I hate myself. I hate myself so much and no one really knows or loves me. I have see the blade at 2 AM and I have cried so hard I wanted to throw up. I have ripped open my leg just so I have some type of feeling. I have trust issues and apparently I should be in a mental institute. I scream at myself and beg for death to over take me. They say I don't understand but I do. I understand how it is to fake laughs and smiles all day, to be exhausted and wanting sleep so the bad feelings go away but not being able to. I understand the fear of your shorts slipping and someone might see and I know the feeling of loneliness and I know of begging God to help you but no one comes. I understand how hard this life really is even if I don't show it.

*In his breakthrough work of channeled literature, I Am the Word, author and medium Paul Selig recorded an extraordinary program for personal and planetary evolution as humankind awakens to its own divine nature. I Am the Word is an energetic transmission that works directly on its readers to bring them into alignment with the frequency of the Word, which Paul's guides call the energy of "God in Action." Paul was born in New York City and received his Master's Degree from Yale. He had a spiritual experience in 1987 that left him clairvoyant. As a way to gain a context for what he was beginning to experience, he studied a form of energy healing, working at Marianne Williamson's Manhattan Center for Living and in private practice. In the process, he began to "hear" for his clients, and much of Paul's work now is as a clairaudient, clairvoyant, channel, and empath. Paul has led channeled energy groups for many years. In 2009 he was invited to channel at the Esalen Institute's Superpowers symposium, where he was filmed for the upcoming documentary film Authors of the Impossible. He is the subject of the feature-length documentary film Paul & the Word which will be released late summer, 2011. His workshops in 2011 include Edgar Cayce's A.R.E. in New York City, the Jungian Center in Vermont and the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, Calfornia. Also a noted playwright and educator, Paul serves on the faculty of NYU and directs the MFA in Creative Writing Program at Goddard College. I held a Mother in my arms, With love & tears of mournful abandon, Watching as she passed to paradise. In time, I heard a Father’s breath of silence; His silver cord too, shredded. Oh my soul! We have been force fed a lie; That real men don’t cry? for it is written; “and Jesus wept.” A son shouldn’t search such unsearchable sorrow... But it's right that children bury their parents, &   Not the other way around, a painful truth; our caretaker's are now in the ground. How long before sunshine’s healing rays Dissipate this institute of grief? & When will the Son rise? (G-d have mercy on us all.) ~  © Qwey.ku

I sip my beer, the relief of foam the last remnant of civilisation like a porcupine shawl alcohol is the spine slice beneath the skin welcoming me in. Electric lights shining bright eels wriggling in a pool of light like Frankenstein reborn the monster within the feathers of a passing dove give flight. Sometimes I feel like grilled asparagus the breathlessness of sentiments wrapped in tin foil the coil of perfection at gas mark 7. Sitting in my bathtub and a 3 piece suit electric toaster bubble and squeak and fidgety machete at the ready the voice in my head says, 'hey man, steady!' the institute transmutes its underplay I opt to not execute on this occasion instead soak up the libation of liberation. Safe in the knowledge; tomorrow is another day.

**The clock demands a tower, for it to look outwards night has an absence, the key factor bringing relevance to a lighthouse, the nightingale infuses sweetness to night hours for those listeners who never fancy hearing her on a day a tall wall, a ladder and an iron cutter, perfectly shapes a thief; there is a mysterious disorder pointing the other way to every careful order. The cactus flower and delicate butterfly on it, brings to focus a certain delectable incongruence, eternity has an eye resting on evanescence, a scientist with a reverse cerebral process alone can snake in to the origin of such nuances, where hides the complex aesthetics of the 'other' of what we are familiar, more fascinating than this the universe that's the tip of an iceberg, hides from us though, it exists here with all of the 'multiverse' But who would institute a Nobel prize for 'otherness' to shed light to the dark path, that would gift more astonishment to us**

My eyes are bruised My pupils are black & blue Sometimes i cut open my eyelids just to see the truth I should be put in a mental institute Because even with all this evidence Im still evident ... Self-harming just to get through Each cut represents you I lost hope in what to do Where can i push this pain to ? I know if i push it to you , You gonna continue to do what you do Im blind to whats happening It is what it is exactly ...

The Miss-Director was beaming with pride as he came to escort me inside. "Come along, these are perilous times, there is much ugly truth we must hide." "Herr Goebbels was our school's inspiration. Joe McCarthy taught here till he died. Charlie Rangel is among our directors. Our Grads over nations preside." "We recruit each years class from young children who display a disdain for the truth." "We start with a class on tall stories, progressing to fibs and untruths." "By the time they are teens they are ready to leave little white lies behind." "They engage in deceit and deception. These skills help them rob people blind." "With our Grad course in prevarication They misdirect and deflect with the great." "Obama was born in Hawaii, his foes say he was birthed out of state." "When Bill Clinton was caught in that perjury I nearly went out of my mind." "If only he'd paid more attention in Class and less to some coed's behind." We had come to a massive rotunda The Pantheon of all untruth. Holograms of Stalin and Churchill told whoppers in an endless loop. There were quotes from the World's Great Religions inscribed on the sides of the wall. A Left wing devoted to Lenin. A right wing like a Munich beer hall. " The sheeple must never be told that a place like this even exists." " You can count on me not to inform them." I said, without moving my lips.

At the Mendacity Institute
I'd like to mention that my city Karnal was once the bastion of the armed forces. Close to my house in NDRI campus until half-a-decade ago stood remnants of the old British Barracks - an irksome reminder of the colonial period. But we went inside the rickety ruins of an olden period to play hide and seek and sometimes just for fun as an adventure. I had seen them - the erstwhile barracks in that dilapidated state only, carrying the Union Jack painted at some places, and I had seen the ruins crash to ground - a reinstated taste of Indian freedom. The Colonial army camped here until the occupying British chose to shift the army camp to Ambala due to high occurrence of mosquitoes in the city of Karnal and found this place fit only for a great cattle yard. Karnal has seen negligence & side-lining ever-since along the course of history. The Indian Oil Corporation's petroleum refinery was decided to be built in the neighbouring Panipat city & so was the National Fertilizers Limited's manufacturing plant built there and not in Karnal. In Karnal they built research institutes, filled with greenery these make the city a comfortable place to relax at ease. But ****** shameless people don't realize the value of plants & trees and keep removing them off the face of Karnal & even where I live, in the NDRI campus - acronym for the National Dairy Research Institute campus. ****** blood sucker stupid human beings are sometimes more irritating than the malarial mosquitoes. They cut trees assuming trees shelter mosquitoes! True they might be but I keep wondering what about the potholes dug by them into the coal-tar & gravel roads to facilitate the installing of religious & marriage tents. But nothing can be done to change the people whose mindset has been falsely ligated with the thought of we are the best & we won't change.

I live in the city fabled to have been Karnā's resting place in the Mahābhāratā. Located on the Yamunā river-bank it's a small city named Karnāl. There are not many places worth living here. But I luckily live in the NDRI campus. National Dairy Research Institute. It is unlike rest of the city. Calm & Vast & Green.

We institute procedures as a tool to obtain substance. We design metrics as a tool to track and ensure that substance is obtained. But then, the tool becomes holier than its own purpose. When we value procedure over substance, we sacrifice substance for procedure.

Intentions and Tools
Loneliness is consuming me Solitude is the only road to salvation For the purist For the one who Excruciates a life time To die at ease For the one who Has an idea of happiness evolving in a nest Madness sheltered in order Chaos ceased with institute Love meant being apart Freedom meant demerit of attitude Free as a falcon Flew to spread the wings Not to reach a destination Roamed to feel the wind Not to discover a new dimension Explored the darkest nights Never let down by apprehension I am a bad man with a good deed I will burn in heaven

Cool are the streets before sunrise I pedal my daily route through downtown Kalamazoo Past the Art Institute and Civic And out through Riverfront Park on the Valley Trail Across the river on M96 I head east toward sunrise The road is slightly dampened by the dew And the trees on each side of the highway stand tall Framing the sun as I make the first curve slightly east-north-east In symmetry, the sun lies between the trees Above the road, floating round, brilliant Just inside the zone of a photographer's eye The sun, the road, the trees, the mist – all ablaze in orange. A dangerous time to ride so close to traffic The lenses of my glasses scatter the light in condensation I pedal hard to pass through this section And ride into Galesburg stopping at the lights Passing through town out Michigan Ave I cross the Kalamazoo River but stop for a moment in stride As the cold air nudges swirls of fog to dance on the surface Lit from behind by the rising sun, golden, quiet, ghostly into the distance Out onto my last few miles where the road is rough It climbs out of the river valley up two hundred feet Into winding country roads away from most traffic And closer to the farms and woods The air is now heavy with the dampness of the woods There is only the breeze I bring with me I crest a hill after a long climb but I do not coast on the slight reprieve As there is new and old roadkill serviced by carrion birds in the mist I am at my destination on another beautiful morning and I think What wonders have I seen that my peers miss in their race on the highway What smells of wild garlic, split oak, and musk of raccoon, skunk, and possum, and sweat What satisfaction I have as I shower off the cold, and insects, and ride from my skin August 20, 2013 Kalamazoo, MI

116 I had some things that I called mine— And God, that he called his, Till, recently a rival Claim Disturbed these amities. The property, my garden, Which having sown with care, He claims the pretty acre, And sends a Bailiff there. The station of the parties Forbids publicity, But Justice is sublimer Than arms, or pedigree. I’ll institute an “Action”— I’ll vindicate the law— Jove! Choose your counsel— I retain “Shaw”!

Numb deep within Can't feel my feet Up to my heart Do i exist? Anytime i feel It hurts Everyrhing races i am afriad I can't remeber Ever belonging Not in a social sense Or being real I get too tired I feel as a child Seeing monsters Giant man eating Lobsters Demons running amok Every breath of mine is bad Luck I swear to god I belong in a mental institute Im not real Are you? I'm alone Ive been alone forever And ever more I'll be alone My life is flashing It's all been so quick And I've hated every second Of my breathing I miss my mother I miss my brothers My whole family I think played a big whammy They must be fake too My scared eyes sometimes see Through Theres a veil you see Doctors say it's anxiety Thats a lie to keep me busy We aren't real I'm so scared I can't describe this fear It never leaves me I'm shivering and afraid The monsters coming to consume me Look hard enough You'll see real mosnters Slenderman and demons Theyre all real Mocking us Im still a little girl Sad and afriad of the world All i see is fear and creatures Lurking with no ****** features No one will hold me My soul is ******* empty Is god real Why won't he answer me He probabaly is around And ignoring me That is the theme of my Reality Can someone just hold me Let me forget my dark reality Im so ******* afraid I must be extremely brave I see demons larger then i can comprehend Yet i go out and still stand If someone held me And didn't leave Maybe for ahwile I would feel real And not as a scared Child
