"immiscible" poems
There is strength here.
Built in glaciers older than countries
Known only to cold seas
And the animals that thrive in the face of difficulty.
There is beauty here.
Reflected in water droplets that tear the light apart
We gaze upon the scattered remains and declare it a rainbow.
We're not wrong.
There is anger here.
You only have to watch the way the volcanoes erupt in fury
Or the water-bound tsunami who reaches for land but is banished to sea.
There is pain here.
Watch the way the Earth shudders, and the ground tries to hold itself together
And oil runs from water.
We call them immiscible.
There is violence here.
It inhabits the living and the still,
Tornadoes chase and throw and break
And guns scream
And the prey cry
And comrades become competitors
There is sorrow here.
You can hear it in the breaking of a voice from topic not age
And the way the rain cries down windows,
In the whimper of a sleeping child.
There is joy here.
You see it in the songs of whales and the chatter of dolphins
And the way the stars twinkle contentedly,
Find it in the breathy huff of a baby's first laugh.
Look for it in the secret smile that wasn't meant to be seen.
There is coldness here.
Not just the kind that makes exhibits of mammoths
But there is something in the look of a bigot,
The indifference of an eagle,
Something in the way ash falls slow and steady as it watches lava desolate a city.
There is life here.
In this world we do not limit living to survival
And we have a way of finding new ways to look at our world.
And though the mountain does not breathe it moves constantly.
Though leaves that left their trees are not green, they dance on the wind.
And even when we are gone we remain in memories and dreams
And artefacts, or speeches, or actions.
There are many problems here.
But we're trying to fix them.
This is a planet worth fixing.

Hopes of a future never to come pass.
Cutting of thread leaving a trail of red.
Comforting lies, take on vengeance’s plasse.
Callow certainty leading my bloodshed.
Essence refusing change, oil and water.
Dripping maroon, satisfies my sweet tooth.
Lost track of my goal, now it's a slaughter.
Enciphered desire, immiscible youth.
As I let go sorrow’s waters -- forlorn,
See me with your purest eyes, unerring
Touch of a mother’s hand, I am reborn.
Sins, a raven’s coat, heavens are glaring.
And as I lay my vision ridden red,
How foolish to lead to one’s own bloodshed.

**I plant where I dig
Faith is my fig
It might take long
But hope keeps me strong
Might not know where I'm headed
Might even get beheaded
Yet I ain't scared
My heart might be scarred
But I'll keep on hoping
They think my life boring
Cause their champagnes always popping
I talk of someday wedding
They believe in eloping
Yet I won't let that shake me
They got sticks and heavy stones
They ain't gonna break me
Though they might fracture my bones
That will be a hell of delay
But they cannot stop destiny
In the lords army as I pray
Here we've got no mutiny
Some ask me of what importance
Is a God who is invisible
They call it renaisance
Yes, it don't make sense
Though we're immiscible
I try to reach out to them
Try to help them go across
From fatal games
To respecting He who died on their cross
Yes He who rose
Trying to **** out the gross
But they don't understand
That It's hard ground where I stand
And they're drowning holding straws**

Time is a witness -- night and day don’t get along.
Immiscible like water and oil.
Either you are black, white, or don’t belong,
A dandelion drowning in a sea of soil.
There’s always an ultimatum, a dichotomy,
A ****** war of who's wrong or right.
Discord reigns supreme with sole autonomy,
When, in fact, the answer lies in twilight.
There is no such thing as absolutes
In a world as rich and diverse as this one.
It takes wisdom to know what constitutes
A solution to the question of who won?
The answer is not black, nor white, but gray,
A compromise where both sides have a say.

I loved you but you are Jackson *******
Too erratic
Too abstract
Too beautiful
And too free
For my structured entropy

*I'd shoot arrows to the sky if you were a star
I'd break into paradise if you were an Angel
I'd drown dead if you were a sea or a lake
I'd bake everyday if you were a piece of cake
I'd be a gardener if you were a Rake, I'd have no brake
if you were speed, I'd heal from every ache if you were an enema
I'd entangle a million if you were an enemy
I'd never hold my breath if you were the air
I'd endlessly love you albeit you showed me no care
I'd die of anxiety if a future with you was promised
even if I was promised just a moment with you my cherished
I'd be contented with a mere shadow if it was given
and forget the haunting past that I've hardly forgiven
if I could just have a single kiss I'd count that we broke even
with life, maybe for once I'd prefer not death to living
if you were even the longest road I'd never dust my feet
I'd never surrender if you were a price for battle
till my heart's splattered I'd never admit defeat
for a life without you is just equally fatal
I'd willingly force my way into hell if Satan took you captive
for even the blaze of my unrequited passion's equally massive
call it explosive for nothing's ever been this obsessive
if you were music, I'd probably be deaf at the moment
for your beauty's a rhythm I'd play on, recurrent
I'd touch a high voltage live wire if you were current
I'd risk a swim if you were trapped in a volatile torrent
I'd do anything for you if you had seen beyond the visible
hadn't we not turned out totally immiscible
if you had just listened to my heartbeat and heard
my soul calling out your name albeit it's scarred
I could have risked everything to share this life with you
after all loving you is among those few things I know how to do
guess it doesn't matter now for I'll never be like those
welcome to your domicile, those for whom you open for your arms and doors*

When matter is Immiscible
Words cannot be the binding agent
When matter is immiscible
Words can be the cohesive agent
When matter is immiscible
Words add fuel to the fire
When matter is immiscible
Words have the power , wield wise
When matter is immiscible
Words can confuse , less is more
When matter is immiscible
Words can go on endlessly FULLSTOP

Kick my warped heart
'cross horizon's false length
watch it burst at my heel's tempered strength
under hot caustic palms
I grind clots into smears
o'er the tactless bold beauty
of dusk's starlit tears
Acidic blood orange
immiscible lies
through combustible petrol lined dusk riddled skies
pummelled raspberry shades
razor grazed until night
amid gloaming mood strains
of my bruise hued twilight
Your blackness detoxifies
poison carved pain
murmured words purify
dispel doubts storm fuelled rain
overcome by our sunsets
conquer nights crushing pain
watch the burnt sun arise
let our hearts love again

Apt it is for love,
To chew the anger
Though needed amplification
in spite of vulnerable trust
which stands with statements
to fight pessimism.
Invaded by problems
terms and conditions applied
congratulated by complications
brings sometimes bad time
It tries to avoid instabilities
yes, love is Lengthy
And sometimes immiscible!
Better enthuse given
coupled with dulcet smile
It prefers to be lifelong
Not surprised by blunders added,
paving way for burly feelings
with artistic sensation
True, love is Lengthy
not same for all,
specific in marvy feelings
surely provides life lessons,
for it takes billions of pages
with primacy, the same
It is and will remain incomplete!

From black and brace strings lightning plank
Walking lines of dimming lights.
With ease eyes fade in eternal sea
Carousal bottomless pit of familiarity.
Hands hold fighting ****** brevity
Flight of Soul’s simple longevity
Fog of gray
Bring dusk and dawn
For those who stray
Must blend immiscible,
Or you will pay
And parish hollow.
Born to old warm then cold
We find familiar footing
Last gasp past flash our legacy and crown
The wisdom bestowed on you
