"defusion" poems
The silence is deadening
Death is beckoning
Hope is failing
Life's just bailing
Feelings are disappearing
Darkness is reappearing
Numbness is calling
Faith is falling
Sight isn't seeing
My vision is fleeing
Smell is an illusion
Filled with defusion
Touch is feeling
It's deemed unappealing
Hearing is a lie
It's crossing its fingers and hoping to die
Speaking is a sin
Never wondering where I've been
Listening is being silent
Quickly turning violent
Kissing is fire
Vacant...with no desire

A gathering girl
Walked through the garden of confusion,
Gathering blooms into her basket
Before they are lost And wilt into defusion,
Leaving behind Those that bare thorns,
For these are the ones
that greet you with horns.
