"commanded" poems
On the sewage puddles of Sabra and Shatila there you transferred masses of human beings worthy of respect from the world of the living to the world of the dead. Night after night. First they shot then they hung and finally slaughtered with knives. Terrified women rushed up from over the dust hills: "There they slaughter us in Shatila." A narrow tail of the new moon hung above the camps. Our soldiers illuminated the place with flares like daylight. "Back to the camps, March!" the soldier commanded the screaming women of Sabra and Shatila. He had orders to follow, And the children were already laid in the puddles of waste, their mouths open, at rest. No one will harm them. A baby can't be killed twice. And the tail of the moon filled out until it turned into a loaf of whole gold. Our dear sweet soldiers, asked nothing for themselves— how strong was their hunger to return home in peace. Translated from the original Hebrew by Karen Alkalay-Gut.

Hijab is my crown shaped in a circle around my head like that of a full moon bringing light from the One who has commanded me to wear it to my face Hijab is my crown shaped in a circle around my head like a merry-go-round rotating with a joyful force in places near and far illuminating its power a reflection of my soul and inner beauty Hijab is my crown shaped in a circle around my head the way whirling dervishes move we're so high aspiring nearness to Allah Masha'Allah our act of wearing hijab daily deserving of much respect and Insha Allah The Seventh Heaven Hijab is my crown shaped in a circle around my head like a spinning wheel many made in different colors and in different textures each brightening the world and when wearing it like Khadijah (AS), Fatimah (AS), and Aisha (RA) attracts attention of the best kind Hijab is my crown shaped in a circle around my head like Big Ben I'm so high dignified a visible ambassador of Islam saying no to immodesty and saying yes to our Majesty Hijab is my crown shaped in a circle around my head like a halo starting my day with Bismillah and looking into the mirror to carefully donn it I remember I'm doing this to help men married and unmarried from sinning and to protect myself from impurity and immoral acts as Hijab is my crown for me a Queen By: Najwa Kareem

Powerful Dua for Love
I stand in the middle of the room My classmates are commanded to listen to me I am the 14th person to present and so far, everyone has done a good job I stand in the middle of the room I begin to saw the name of my project “My Poem” I cannot remember what it was about I do remember, what I felt I stand in the room, Hoping that everyone feels what I felt when I was writing it I felt excited, my stomach had ‘butterflies’ I think I felt the heat in my heart and the cold on my shoulders. I felt the tingles all over my body, and the air escaping me I stood in the middle of the room I stand in the middle of the room I was in the middle of the room and said “My poem” I heard a chuckle. I ignored it because the ‘in love’ heart in my chest was more excited than It should have been I continues and my voice began to play tricks on me And the r’s rolled and the words were suddenly in another language My mind still ignored it and continues Because I felt I could write, and read this and everyone could love it I stood in the middle of the room, I waited for the, applause, the smiles, the congrats, or even a simple ‘good job’ like everyone else Instead… My teacher said, work on pronunciation. She said it again. Pro-noun-ci-a-tion Ok. ‘Work on grammar.’ ‘Work on sentence structure’ “Work on being American” the chuckle said Or the person who chuckled? It didn’t mean much, you know I loved writing so much that it did not matter I would be a writer, I would continue to STAND in the middle of the room and share my talent And when I did, he chuckled She chuckled, I was Mexican Not a writer. Writers can’t be Mexican Unless you write in Spanish and in Mexico But I was too American for that at this point… SO the next time I wrote I was ashamed, Maybe if someone else wrote my writing? But it didn’t matter, When the teacher began reading, The chuckle reminded the class it was the ‘Mexican’ who wrote it “Mi nina” My mom would say She reminded me that no only was I Mexican I was a woman, Only men thrive in this world I believed it And that is why my name is ‘The Voice’ Not my actually name, Disclosure: I accept criticism on how to better my writing NOT on what to write or on my background

The Raven Feather was a gift. I told you to look at this feather whenever you're longing for me. I couldn't stay. The master was calling. Haunted me in my dreams. Commanded me to return. So I turned around. Raven feathers sprouted out of me. And I flew into the dawn. I still haven't forgot you.. I'm just waiting for the opportunity to run away to defeat the master to break the curse to fly over borders into life. Until then Remember me. I shall return! Remember me. When you hold the Raven Feather in your hand.

The Raven Feather
Her beauty doth arouse temptation So fiercely though I cannot imagine My struggle to resist laying upon my hand The fairest strands that sit a top her head. My hands tremble with delight I sit in the midst of the worlds greatest disaster. Yet I am reduced to the simplicities of batting my eyes For this woman hath stolen my sight Upon hers I am commanded to view. Tis simply a fate solely unwished upon by few. Her unwavering gaze cannot be replaced By even the finest rewards from the heavens themselves. The angels permit themselves to admire only afar. For if too closely they arrive t'would be a prison. The very same prison I hath myself locked within. The key resting below where the heart doth reside. To leave I wish not, For to remove my eyes requires strength unseen by man. I am a prisoner to my own Desire

Arriving at the entrance of the ancient temple the white rabbit covered his ears. Shattering glass from a high-pitched vibration he leaped away from a falling chandelier. “I must find our beloved Harvest Moon." The white rabbit said to himself. With stern affirmation, a dark fog churned then into the vortex he was consumed. He stopped at the entrance of the temple courtyard; everyone was frozen like statues. "What has she done to all of you?" He cried, then pulled out a magic rune deflecting a hail of daggers. The white rabbit looked up at a floating cocoon and saw the shadow witch hovering over the temple roof. Pale skin and veins glowing red, she was draped in a black tattered robe. With a sinister look and a Crown of Fire on her head the shadow witch spoke. “White rabbit, white rabbit the Harvest Moon is dead!" The white rabbit took leaped back then cried out. "This cannot be so!" Then he pulled from his bag a magic scroll and read the words written in gold. "I ask the wind to protect me from this dark magic despair" Then he conjured a circle of trees in a water globe. The witch streaked across the air and swung around her jet-black hair. Then she commanded an infestation of spiders to climb inside the trees and explode. Barricading himself inside a magic bubble he was protected from the onslaught of shrapnel. The white rabbit grabbed the water globe, leaped into the air, and disappeared in a puff of amber smoke. The shadow witch pulled out a blood-red pearl and murmured an incantation. "Clever white rabbit, I shall find you in the invisible world" The white rabbit snapped his fingers then magically appeared behind her. He snatched off the Crown of Fire from her head then whispered the following words. "How dare you use dark magic on me!" She jumped in fear spinning around, then summoned a devil hound. The white rabbit raised the water globe and merged it with the crown. A shock wave of light pulsated in the air then the witch menacingly yelled. “Take him down!” The white rabbit saw in his peripheral view the hound lunge to attack. But he was too cunning for this, with a symbolic wave and a vigorous slash the hound was severed in two. The shadow witch glared, then cried out. “We shall meet again white rabbit; I promise you I'll be back!” Then she summoned a fiery cauldron and vanished with a blinding flash. The white rabbit ran inside the temple and approached the Harvest Moon. He stared with eyes full of tears and sorrow at a beautiful princess with hair long and blue. A beautiful creature he so desired, the love he had for her was true. He opened his bag and pulled out the globe which was now encased with the Crown of Fire. "I brought you a gift from the shadow witch" Then he smashed the globe and with a flash of light, the Crown of Fire was finally free. The white rabbit held the princess and spoke. "I have always served you because I love you and now, I command you to come back to life!" Then he placed the Crown of Fire on her head igniting a ring of light. The white rabbit looked down to see the Harvest Moon Princess opening both of her eyes.

you can’t right the same poem twice **** love poems)
A single life so worthless, that poor fly, Sooner than its timely moment to die, As commanded by my unnerving will, Its incompetent life I chose to **** Put more simply, for disturbing my peace, Its feeble and destitute life I ceased. Yet my bloodstained hands always remained clean, Once crimeful killing had become routine. What almighty and sinful God am I For unsparingly judging who must die By my sword, without remorse or regret, The slaughtered fly under my gavel, I forget. An evil power from no source or spring Springs power in me like a maddened King.

The Fly
From the moment I walked in, I felt the piercing eyes. Same eyes that nailed Jesus to the wooden cross. Jesus said, by this, all man will know you are my disciples, if you have love one to another. Pharisees, Pharisees, Pharisees. Oh, how the mighty have fallen into apostasy. Like the Nephilim which came & has yet to come again. Surely heading back to the beginning, the Days of Noah. The entire time I sat in those fold-up chairs, my heart couldn't stop racing. Perhaps it was the spirits aligning to seek whom they may devour. Heard many vain repetitions today, didn't Jesus say that's what heathens do? For they think that they will be heard for their many words. We all crucified the Lord Jesus Christ. We have all blasphemed. One perfect Godman died on our behalf, then rose 3 days later to break the curse. Sacrificial love. Let us not break bread & drink grape juice. Guess you never knew that's symbology for cannibalism. In which He never commanded us to do. Simply two commands were left. Love God with all your heart, with all your soul & with all your mind. Secondly, love your neighbor as you love yourself.

Dear Fellowship Bible Church,
*In the frost garbed winter all I could notice was her While delicately she let the tea fall into the cup Her spell binding beauty magically won me over Roaring oceans in her eyes The sun bathes in them to Birth dawns to embellish her skies I noticed over the cup of tea Spring sprouted alive in her smile Fuchsia gave away on her cheeks She tames seasons in her own style I noticed over another cup of tea Winds matted her hair with wild lilies Her every step like favours on carpeted heavens She commanded every breath in the stone alleys I noticed over the cups of tea*....

I believe in a universe where the earth and moon, and all the planets go round the sun... in a galaxy carrying us dancing a waltz we can only catch glimpses of. I believe in a universe where "Know Thyself" is revered as a deep truth. I believe in a universe where an unexamined life is not worth living. I believe in a universe where the words of a carpenter are a true path. I believe in a universe where an illiterate man is commanded Read!... a burning coal upon the lips. I believe in a universe where every God and Goddess exist, each in their own heaven... each in their own hell. I believe in a universe where there are no gods or goddesses only the relentless laws of matter, energy and gravity. I believe in a universe where everything is mathematics. I believe in a universe where everything is holy I believe in a universe where everything in profane. I believe in a universe where everything is a simulation. I believe in a universe where everything is ****** in nature. I believe in a universe where everything is stimulation. I believe in a universe where the hoochie ******* is what its all about. I believe in the universe.

My love for you is like the tides, always changing yet always strong. Sometimes you crash into my head and other times you slowly creep your way in. Yet one thing always stays the same It is commanded by you, the moon. It's hard to imagine something as massive as an ocean being controlled by something as simple as the moon. You are my moon. Hold that power carefully.

Praise thy Lord Our GOD, Praise GOD In His Sanctuary.!
A man came to my door late last night. It was about 8pm if my guessing is right He seemed shaken and overcome with fright He stuttered and stammered as I turned on the porch light Timothy he said Timothy he begged Please listen to me he pled I must save you his tongue shed Flabbergasted at the sight, my thoughts abstracted despite his quadratic explanation of my plight. We connected like an arc light. Hold on I demanded Wait a second I commanded He could tell by my look I was stranded in the immensity of the situation so he spoke candid So your here to save my life? What do I say to something like that?

Back from the Future
With eyes of restless mental fraught, ...in-kind with dancing dreamy thoughts, and hope in lovelorn passion’s play, prismatically amorous frenetic fray; ...yet your heart at apogee to mine today? And if I say solemnity? As you presage a beauty… And if I say solace? While you oh petulant beauty… And when I premune peace? You stir it with such beauty… And as I yearn with much desire? Commanded by your beauty! Burning in my chest a fire, An Eros to your beauty. With eyes of restless mental fraught, in-kind with dancing dreamy thoughts, and hope in lovelorn passion’s play, prismatically amorous frenetic fray; yet your heart at apogee to mine today? And you the beauty of my dismay. . .

Beauty
You, you only, exist. We pass away, till at last, our passing is so immense that you arise: beautiful moment, in all your suddenness, arising in love, or enchanted in the contraction of work. To you I belong, however time may wear me away. From you to you I go commanded. In between the garland is hanging in chance; but if you take it up and up and up: look: all becomes festival! ______ Translated by Stephen Mitchell

You, you only, exist
*A dense black rock in deep meditation for ever gesticulated to him in the dark as if they have met at the appointed hour. He could feel the warmth of love in its inner core never ever given a chance to express for long, long millenniums. "Open your heart" he commanded in a voice, that  triggers miracles, thunder roared, lightning flashed goosebumps did quickly spread in the center of the dense granite block speaking a cryptic code, cleaving it in to two, what a brilliance! this moment was kept hidden by circumstances; a diamond filled the darkness with such radiance, that has no measure.*

An affair with darkness
This was a twisted night, I looked naughty at her sight, He brought me a **** scrumptious babydoll, Where I took her fully on demand, Commanded us to kiss, I felt her lips speak on mines wanting me to make her mine, He watched us unravel into one of his prolonged fantasies, In my mind I felt amoral, But every part of me love the entertainment of pleasure we had, The night aroma smelled like grapefruit, And she tasted like a sugar cane, Such a bittersweet moment, Move baby move, Slow baby slow, She did by my every word, I had to much control on her, Like she was my little voluptuous puppet, That night it should've last longer, Her curvy body so addictive to hold, Her heartbeat so quietly beating to match mine, The way she looked at me as if I brought her back to life of happiness, I noticed how she fell for me more than I care for her, But I noticed how I fell for him more, We made it clear how we felt that night, He made it clear how he liked it, Will I ever be the same without her, Or is it the two that finally makes me complete.

My Share
In the very beginning when God made woman and man, He noticed some were smarter and devised a glorious plan. He gathered them together and solemnly  commanded, “You, my favorite children, will henceforth be left-handed.” So when you see a lefty, please give your due respect, and try not to be offended by their greater intellect. Although you are right-handed, for which there is no cure, remember God still loves you… He just loves lefties more.

Lefties
She burst into our lives one summer In an explosion of glitter and cat ears And into the darkness of our young lives She became a light. She demanded my friendship Commanded my respect Reprimanded my bad choices And expanded my views. She's the one who got me writing poetry She taught me how to worship And how to question authority She told me to speak up To be myself And I learned from her fearless example. We shared some scars And she was never afraid of telling me the straight-up truth. She wasn't perfect Sometimes she destroyed feelings And shoplifted our hearts But I learned from that, too. And then one day with a toss Of those red curls, one of those Hugs that made everything better And a swing of the metal heart hanging on her chest She was gone, just like that But I'll never forget she changed my life And I'm still changing it through Rachel, this one's for you.

Church Daze -- Rachel
I grew up in a country now I live in a business. America has been stolen and morphed into a fascist Disneyland. Our women are told if they don't look 25 when they are 60 they don't exist. Our children are taught not to ask questions or defend themselves. Our young people are commanded to go to college, get on the endless treadmill of the American Nightmare or they are failures. We warehouse our parents at great expense so we don't have to face the reality of death. Our men sell themselves for money and power they can't take with them. Courage, thrift, honor, all replaced with greed, the last recognized virtue. The only remedy is to say no. Try to remember what is important: protect your loved ones, love your friends, reject the latest and greatest; turn off your TV. You won't change America, that is lost for good. But you might change yourself which is much more important. The rich will stay rich, the powerful will keep their power, the business will keep on chugging, but you will be yourself, a sane person in a country gone mad. ~mce
