Masculinum Hyppeastrum,
monstrum;
the man eating
botanica,
the endlessly flowering plant,
had enough of me.

Went to sleep,
or worse,
he perished.

I must have said something nasty
about his size;
doesn't flower anymore,
all dried out,
doesn't do a thing,
his onion is weeping.

Christmas roses,
as I call the girls,
lost the will
to live.

All my,
previously green, flora
is pointing her leafless finger
at me.

I've done nothing,
that's the problem.
I forgot all about my green plants;

the environment is wrong,
there is too much acidity,
and that's my fault.

I will search
under the garden snow
for snow drops,
I left to themselves
two years
February,
my snow tears.

For colour,
I have lemons and limes,
green and yellow;
sitting on a traditionally,
blue, hand-painted
Chinese china platter.

River Yangtze
is still running through my mind.
Chai,

Lemon tea and lemonade.

Author Notes
Flowering plants from Bahia : Hyppeastrum sp.
From the 1970s, many plant novelties from Bahia
came to light with the expeditions carried out
by Howard Irwin and collaborators
of NYBG (USA) and by Raymond Harley
from RBG-Kew (UK). This provoked a renewal
of interest, among botanists, in the flora of Bahia

Tropica, botanica of poetry's heaven,
Tropica, santonica that groweth so free;
Let thy pen jot down and stroke the cloud's
Carelessly....

Tropica, a basilica awaiteth thine thought's
I knoweth thou art down, lonesome and depressed
But so many careth for thy heart's pain and loss........

Tropica, friend of mine, sun that Shine's
Let the day for thee be anewed, paint the world blue
As thy tear's turneth from cloud's to rainbow's bright and loud;

Tropica, hepatica growing wildly and untamed, knoweth ourn creator is near, do not fear, nor dread, thine head's lingo is as beautification on display.

Tropica, let thy poetic melodica sing it's angelic sound, wherein when thou doth feeleth down, knoweth thou shalt always hath a friend in me, as god wilt guideth thee, in the fire and freeze.......

Tropica, art thou now smiling (:::::::::::::

A dear poet on here is down and depressed and needs someone to listen to her as I want to but am putting aside me own depression to help her out try to cheer her up with this poem lol hope you like it miss tropica...
Here are words some might not understand in here
Botanica- is like a shop that sells flowers or spiritual things...
Santonica- is a flower head or flowers period I learned (;:
hepatica is something that looks like a daisy white and purple ones...
Melodica- is like a keyboard like harmonics thing lol musical instrument !!! Enjoy

with you my energy is full like the milky moon
you're the sunshine to my moonlight,
the sunset to my moonrise
the golden hues to my dusky tunes
she's everything you could want from a friend:
a summer without end.
the softest riverbend,
a path to transcend.
energy in its purest form
she's more blur than body
a playful mirage in summer cerebra
I have many poems called Nina
but she's more song than poetry
she's an unopened letter
a song yet to be sung
she'll share it with someone
but it'll sound better to her own ears
a soul that only she hears
she's lush life when you feel desert
she's the botanica among blues
and together we be, just be
earthly but on a different energy
forever my sister
not through blood,
but through air, fire, and sea
