Oh it’s been a day. A day of loneliness, a day of many emotions. I must admit that I’m not doing well, but neither is anybody else. I miss you. Where did you go? It’s been a while since you told me about your friends. I loved those stories. Where did you go? Did you hear me sing? I sang for you, but it’s no longer the same with you here. I still have your keyboard. I love it. Even when it doesn’t work or even when that stupid stand breaks, it’s yours and I love it. I miss telling you of all the new things I learned. I miss hugging you every time I see you. I miss your beautiful grey hair. Where have you been? You’ve only been “gone” for a little over a month, but you’ve really been gone for about 8 years. I miss you Shirley. I do. I can’t wait to catch up with you again someday. I need to see you smile at me one more time. I guess I’ll have to wait to see it again, but in the meantime, I’ll prepare all these stories for you. I love you. Your smile, your kindness. You. I love you so much grandma. You have no clue.
