The dark, the light
no more fight
You win, I lose
how to choose?
Where I was, where to be
why can't u see?

There is will, there is hope
but how to cope
Life is full, strength is strong
how can I go wrong?
Came and gone, live and learn
Why I burn
Where I was, where to be
why can't u see?

Feel the love, spread the word
sounds are heard
Be yourself, dance and sing
do almost anything
Write your thoughts, feel the pain
there is nothing to gain
Where I was, where to be
why can't u see?

There is a place I cannot hide
A place deep inside
Somewhere no one else can go
Somewhere no one else can know
Breathing your skin
The love within
And never be able to release

You have forgotten me
I have not set you free
I cry inside with pain
There is no remain
I fear my loss
And the cross
And never be able to release

You are no longer
And so I suffer
In silence, alone
For I could move mountains
With you
I could fulfill my destiny
With you
But no longer
And never be able to release

Secrets You Cannot Hide
Winnie Aug 2010
I have questions
questions to what has no answers
deep in thought I sit
without feeling or fears

I have questions
ones no one hears
my mind is a blank
but I have tears

I have questions
whom knows no boundaries
body and soul
filled with stories

I have questions
you won't ever answer
fear and rejection
written in my messenger

My Poem
I lit a flame today
In hopes to burn the pain away
I feel such pain and sorrow
And know I will be here tomorrow
I do not have wings to fly
All I do is sit and cry
I embrace life with turmoil and despair
Love someone who doesn't care
With every breathe I take
I know his love has been a fake
To rise above a new tomorrow
Where no more love, pain & sorrow
Oh how I wish for thee
To be ever so happy
But just until the end of day
I will write my blues away
