Are you looking for love are you looking for hope
Are you looking for world peace and the end of hunger
Are you looking for food and survival necessities
Are you looking for time and a cure to be younger

You look above the sky and beneath the sea
To the left of the left and the right of the right
You look underneath your shoes and inside your hat
But the answers seem to be nowhere in sight.

The day continues and you postpone your search
The day becomes a month and the month becomes a year
And time continues with the thought in the back of your mind
But time seems too busy to allow the course to veer

And as the ever slowing beep by your side fades
The answers seem nearer than ever before
As soon as the solution is in grasp
Click. You go to your respective shore

Are you looking for love are you looking for hope
Are you looking for world peace and the end of hunger
Are you looking for food and survival necessities
Are you looking for time and a cure to be younger

Open your eyes front and center
These words belong to Wesley Espinosa and nobody else.

The Root of All Evil
Wesley Espinosa Nov 2010
The root of all evil, set to victimize the people
Keep us separate but equal, justification is lethal
But the system isn’t see through, it’s affecting you and me too
And now we  must redo everything that made us feeble.

Now we must all give in to this suppressive prison
This world in which we live in has been filled with premonition
Oppose our own volition, our morals and our cognition
Listen to the vision of new accepted fiscal rhetorician

You claim to be a Christian with no moral intuition
But I don’t envision a Christian to think with his commission
But I may be incorrect and I may need to reflect
Nevertheless, it’s a greedy world what can you expect?
These words are Wesley Espinosa's and nobody elses.

Money
Wesley Espinosa Nov 2010
The winding never-ending road begins in the forest
The root of all evil is an exchange of nature’s breath
The root of all evil isn’t born in any sense
The root of all evil begins with a death

The carcass is driven to its’ after-life
It’s given a new face and a new shade of green
Most of it won’t make it to hell, every day it’s shredded
There is no reminder that what it is, isn’t what it seems

Each and every piece that makes it, starts in the same place
In this place it is still meaningless until claimed
It is then transferred for some purpose
Could be violence, could be music, could be life….

It continues on this-never ending path
The stock broker to get coffee
The coffee worker to get burgers
The burger griller to eat bread
The baker to ride a skateboard
The skateboarder to smoke ***
The drug dealer to get a weapon
The gun shop owner to have ***
The ******* to keep living
The pharmacist to play the market
The stock broker to….
We’ve reached the beginning again.

The root of all evil is our fuel to survive
Our fuel to achieve, our fuel to happiness, our fuel to wrath
So when does this stop and what happens when it dies
The root of all evil begins with a death, it’s a never ending path
This belongs to Wesley Espinosa.
