Light My Universe
We'llCallItFall Jan 2013
We sit here and drink our honesty
Taking it in, sip by sip
Let it burn in our bellies, seek embrace from our *****

I watch your motions
The world flood your eyes
Your thoughts flow freely off your tongue

Constructing thoughts of my own

Constructing my thoughts on you

If tomorrow came to soon
And swept us from our feet

Unable to land, unable to keep

I would try and hold you tight, keep you in my grasp

We may not be perfect, but we hold a strong clasp

Now tomorrow is never for certain, the future is never forever

But if it were up to me

You would be the one I hold at night
I would choose you to commence a fight

Because I feel something within you that I once lacked in myself

A light, your light
A light so bright that it shines with the greatest of ease
And illuminates the quarries from within me that once lay barren

I love you my dear
I love you my sweet
Fill my universe with your light
Make it complete

The Fly & The Rat

The Fly & The Rat

Where the **** do your loyalties lie

We sit in this circle and continue to tie
We twist and we wind
This knot goes unbroken

Little do I know
You have gone and have spoken

This tie is but nothing
A symbol for such little

Please just go
For I am belittled

This bond I was crafting
Was merely a trap

For I am a fly
And you, a rat.

Why
We'llCallItFall Dec 2012
Why
Why

Sometimes when I sit and stay
And no wanderlust comes fourth my way

I read a line of poetry or two
I confirm my worldly suspicion’s are true

I feel the heart’s of other’s match mine
I feel them clench and twist
And realize this hurt has lasted through time

For I am not the only one who knows the cold, cold, world
Who feels the sadness and quarrel

For time is time and hurt is hurt

We all want something whole with worth

But here I sit I stay I cry
I look out at the world and ask "why why why"
