easy there Mr. Testosterone
control your speed, put down the phone

did you light the fuse when you turned the key
rage bomb, speeding, weaving, for all to see

squeeze the wheel, music will blare
clinched jaw, your ****** words, we hear you swear

we're stupid drivers, bad traffic you say
more over, speed up, get out of my way

rest assured that none of us care
if you text or you're a mobile talker
either way your remembrance will be a roadside marker
every year over 50,000 men women and children
are killed on our roads        share the road  PLEASE!

above the clouds near thirty 'K'
a family of friends work hard and play

they're a team led by spirit and heart that's true
with 'luv' in their blood red, gold and canyon blue

together they soar noon and night each day
customer service, warmth and pride, that's their way

they come from Texas, up North and way out West
news travels fast when they hear you're the best

now try to remember the ones laid to rest
the likes of Braniff, Midway and America West

from PSA to ****** and even Value Jet
on-board with Southwest is the winning bet

the mission was written for all to share
I commit to it's spirit I promise and swear

thanks for your time and I would be very proud
to work with the team above the cloud

Once upon a time
there were days, months and years
Once upon a time
we would plan, dream and we had no fears
Once upon a time
there were moments, evenings and late afternoons
Once upon a time
we heard stories, sang songs and watched Saturday cartoons
Once upon a time
there were decades, generations and changing seasons
Once upon a time
we saved Sunday for church and we all knew the reason
Once upon a time
we stood and pledged with a hand on heart
Once upon a time
we were united together, we all did our part
Once upon a time
we held liberty, freedom rich in red, white and blue
Once upon a time
the world was a better place and you know these words are true
Once upon a time
we almost lost our freedom land
Once upon a time
hope, faith and courage became our stand
Once upon a time
there were statesman, patriots, heroes and leaders
Once upon a time
we voted out the haters, pretenders and political cheaters
Once upon a time
is now, right now, we have so much to save
stand and fight for OLD GLORY long may it wave
Once upon a time
God bless America
Once upon a time
AMERICAN TIME

This heart was once steadfast and solid gold, but now it is
empty and solitaire
This heart, even though empty, is still pure and shines as brightly
as it ever has with values unchanged
This heart stays tactile smooth and comfortable to hold
This heart has a shape that remains true and always will, just it's
center has been taken
This heart is hollow now, waiting to be full, to be solid, solid gold
to be The Solid Gold Heart

THIS HEART NEEDS YOUR HELP

This heart, as you can see, has no chain to support it, to carry it
to hold it
This heart could not possibly join with a chain in full complement
to engage your neck
This heart needs to share a chain with other gems, bobbles and trinkets
for now
This heart is for all to see, this heart is for all to know the story of
The Solid Gold Heart
This heart will serve as a reminder of how truly remarkable and wonderful
The Solid Gold Heart is
This Solid Gold Heart belongs to you

while I watch you sound asleep
I pray to God your soul to keep

with covers pulled tight 'neath your chin
still not sleepy I wonder when

the hands of the clock point 3 am
oh how I long for  r e m

a nod, a yawn, anything 'ill do
just to lay snug next to you

so for now I write it true
this sleepy poem called, I love you

the smell of your perfume the scent of your hair
you're etched in my mind reflecting I stare

I'll travel all night to erase these miles
to be by your side together sharing smiles

drawn in by your eyes I am captured by this
hold you so tight, anticipated, ---  kiss

your ruby red lips ignite sparks so bright
that side of your neck long after the night

you are so special this is very true
I wanted you to know, ---  my
