I’m beside myself looking across the parallel,
Searching for the right thing to say I take another bite,
Behind these eyes marks a change staring back,
While slitting the fruit from the vine,
Screams of **** pain and anguish almost entice,
The nectar repelling down its face like sweat,
It knows complete serenity.

I’m at the house of my ancestors,
And still the riddles on the wall,
Have remained branded, stained,
Aside from the surrounding proximity,
I can relax just this once,
The calm before the nuclear bomb,
Or maybe just a tantrum,
A regression by fate’s whim,
Who it will be is anyone’s guess,
Considering my current state of affairs,
I’m an O so likely candidate,
For ******* of the millennia.

In them,
In the moment huh?
What does that mean,
Here you go,
  While being planned ahead,
A single glimpse on the horizon,
Made scorching hot out of lunacy,
The definition of loneliness incarnate,
Made real by the blooming horizon,
The feline’s tail disappears in the shadow,
As you make your way towards it,
Why not stay and let me hold you tight,
Glimpse of the light,
    The future seems so shaky,
Resting on a fulcrum point,
There’s no way of measuring the intensity,
    In the downstrokes,
   Angrily this laden sadness,
Makeshift in moonlight desperation,
       Perfection never reached because,
I splattered **** on the bowl,
    Then I turned around,
  Didn’t even see the tail,
And started conversing lines that made no sense,
I just love the conditioned response,
     Keys chattering in the night
No one can hear but the wind and me,
     The desperation in my narrative,
What it will all amount to I cannot say,
Exceptionally dull in its futility,
If only to impress the one I fell in love with,
And stillll reminisce about to this moment,
                The artist’s daughter,
Full of awkward sunshine and presumably
Already spoken for beauty,
I was amazed to learn that,
Artists roamed this town camoflouged.

What was once thought of as meaningless,
This has become the pedestal,
It is now heralded as the voice of the generations,
Can it be so easy to corrupt,
Now a society watches in wait for what the end will bring,
Popcorn and soda in hand at overpriced locations near you,
We love to see how stupid we all are,
Talk show hosts hit the streets and ask them,
***** watching the tube laugh and criticize,
The mass media keeps us scared and uninformed,
We’d rather be socially accepted than question,
Socially unaccepted question, however important they may be,
Now people all over the world are fed up,
Revolution is sprouting clipped wings,
Still, as though the blinds are shut in the window,
The daily grind continues as if nothing is happening,
As if we are powerless and are obligated,
Drink your drug, don’t pay any attention to what that noise was,
It’ll all be over soon,
And you’ll soon understand what it meant to be,
Outside the cage, you’ll be second-class,
For the very first time, hard but free.
You couldn’t ask for more America,
If you don’t like the way things seem to be heading,
Do something about it, be heard, think of others,
Don’t let anyone stop you and take care,
It’s perfectly acceptable now to hate ignorance,
We can now prefer to search for the soul,
Rather than the TV guide,
We can now talk about things that matter,
Rather than the latest re-make of a movie,
We now have the power to abort the path,
That ignorant, fat, rich aristocratic liars have led,
We’re going to blaze our own trail,
In the name of the past intellects that now shutter,
Let’s get back to it.

There we all were spouting drifts of nonsense.
We each had an equal share of reality.
I proclaimed I loved the whole thing and everyone in it.
May not have been the right time.

Now we all sit and gaunter about.
We live in our own flesh of time.
Recognizing the mantra of mentality.

I’ll always remember the night with them,
They seeked a natural forum,
The one that I also sought,
In one blaze of night and early morning,
True events took place.

I hope they all remember,
How wondrous and true that moment was,
The ramblings on the wall,
Standing and sitting around in great suspense,
Never wanting the end to come.

It was set on a kaolin foundation,
I felt we rose our spirits on the silky earth.

Everywhere my eyes gazed there were faces,
Today all surfaces were covered,
In the vines of brownstone buildings,
In the bag of marijuana,
In the words I wrote,
In the gone moments of the day,
In the wood grains on the table,
All chanting in colic stoicism,
Just colorfully accepting enough to hear,
The blushing remorse of,
Meeting yourself,
Under a different light,
In a different circumstance,
By different laws,
Different matter,
Under a spellbound trip.

To be brief and important,
Skids on the treads of a mind in motion,
Recovery only to be found,
After the jolt, after the fact,
Flowing in one direction and so,
Abruptly turned toward a new sight,
Feeble minded enough to question,
It all; or shut it all out,
Locked up and entertained by,
Simplicity and singularity
