The Melancholic String
Ummarah Khan Mar 2012
Love flies,
the words die.
Emotions flow,
as the autumn sets,
and the winds blow.
The red leaves cling,
seagulls sing,
yet a melancholic string...
thoughts cease,
emotions freeze,
then the cold breeze,
take me to the edge of utopia,
where loyalty exists,
with no worldly grease.

Dear Departed
Ummarah Khan Mar 2012
Once I met an endless  end,
a pointless point and a bendless bend.
So was she lying in her bed.
Half asleep, half awake.
The winds were roaring in the windows,
life was so no more casting a shadow.
I sat by her side,
as she was only my guide....
She held my hands,
I looked into her eyes.
So she asked for a pledge that night.
"You will always remain in my sight."
Perhaps I may, perhaps I might.
How can I ever forget that sight.
So was I keeping my words,
So was I holding her hands.
But her SOUL flew away,
and my DEAR DEPARTED today....

A Living Dead
Ummarah Khan Apr 2012
Who am I?
No one's dear,
rolling tears.
loser of the ring,
a melancholic string.
an autumn leaf,
a rotten belief.
a shriveled flower,
a silent tower.
a utopian dream,
an unheard scream.
eclipsed moon,
a hollow dome,
shattered star,
bleeding scar,
a fallen feather,
a lost traveller.
strangers valley,
an unread bailey.
ceased beats,
frozen heat.
crippled thought,
missed shot.
or a living dead...

THE NEW DAWN
Ummarah Khan Apr 2012
The angels were weeping in the Heavens,
Joys were shared amongst the devils
Her heart with every beat was remembering GOD,
its only MAN who leaves you on a stranger road.
Her soul was scarred, her heart was torn.
Her lips dried,her feet tired....
with her blood all her hairs were drenched!!!!
but it was HOPE of the NEW DAWN she had clenched.
GOD answers the prayers you make in your HEART,
only HE holds the HEALING ART.
The angels started singing yet another rhyme,
because not the GODs love Ends at bad times,
and fairies were dancing in her dreams that night,
and kissed her eyes a lovely morning's light.
