Beautiful flowers like roses
Lilies and Daphnes,
Perfectly made by God
To bestow the earth with their beauty
But what then happens to the grasses
Laid peacefully on the ground
Protecting all those who step on it
From creepy crawlies.
In weddings,
Brides all carry beautiful flowers
And use the grasses as a foot mat,
What purpose do they hold other than their beauty...
Not literally but figuratively 🙂
