I'm always the one
listening intently
Keeping eye contact
Listening tensely
Everyone else stopped
Your eyes wonder to me
A smile
I'm still listening gently
I like to be the one
Listening patiently
Making sure you're not left out
Because I know when I speak
I'm forgotten about

you told me you could never be a poet
but
my eyes are like cats eye marbles
and
im a reminder of flower fields
at night
fireflies dancing between
strands of grass
and
dandelions
you used to write me poetry
with verses of
"i love you"
and
"see you tomorrow"
but
you told me you could never be a poet

Is

Is
Dovely
Enjoying

A happy face I saw– unknown,
yet it felt so familiar,
like someone I have known,
That smile, that face,
why can't I forget?

Were you for real,
or just a dream
my waking eyes
happened to see?

O' love....your name I hear everywhere
What are you?...I  asked.
A voice came from within the depth of my heart
Love is.....it said
"When the world is lying at your feet
Yet, you don't care to look
For you can't take off your eyes
from that one face. "
O' how truly beautiful love is...said I.
Come...come...love
Come to my heart
For I too wish to feel your touch
Dear sweet love.

As much as I wanted to

I could never hate you

my love was too strong

for hate to stand a chance.

Your eyes are
the mirror
of your heart.  

They reveal
what your heart
tries to conceal.

Silence of your
eyes spoke
what your lips
failed to say.

"O,to be loved. "
A feeling like no other.
"Makes your heart fly like a butterfly"
In a garden full of flowers.

In darkness,
be the light in someone's life.
Lend a helping hand,
You surely will make a new friend.
If someone loves you,
Honour that love.
For love isn't a commodity,
You can buy.
To the one you love,
Give the gift of time.
Spread a smile,
In someone's life.
Your life will be truly worthwhile.
After all,  what is life's worth,
If it can't make someone's life better.

I went on a quest,
in search of the most beautiful place on earth.
I saw beauty all around .
But what I went searching for ,
I  found it right here .
It is the heart,
for, heart is the sacred place where
the flower called love blooms.
