Wisdom cries out to Dignity There is a great bewailing upon the mountain tops,as wisdom cries out to Dignity, have you no shame. Can you not feel the pain of women or is it your face the other way you did turn.Oh wretched humanity, how could you commit such a heinous crime.Crawling she has not mastered , her first step never taken and barely could she scream out stop, as you your own way did have. I wonder if she will ever smile, or will this scar be embedded so deep that her beauty shall never be seen.A mother sits at the window, awaiting the return of her little girl,to the shop I did send her, I wander why she tarries so.As second's turn to minutes and an hour now gone by and no word of her has come. Her heart a racing, filled with dread,as these words echo from deep within.**** , slavery death like a raging sea that can not be stilled.A mother's plea,a whispered pray,as memories of her little girl floods her mind. The morning air is broken,as sirens are heard from afar.A woman bruised and battered from just one blow too many. A bed of roses, has now become a bed of thorns.Pillows soaked with tears as this has become her daily bread.Scorn, shame, pain and reproach has finally taken its toil, as she cries out, death oh death why do you linger so, of this no more can I take.My heart is broken, my spirit weakened , let me sleep a sleep of no return that I may not see tomorrow. So once again there is a great bewailing,as Wisdom cries out to Dignity.Let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an overflowing stream.
