freshwater glides across the rocks
warmth of your head lay upon my breast
along my skin tickles brown locks
stings the silence of love confessed
old songs sing out of the music box
coldness finds where a head once rest
i grin at the soaring flocks
as i nervously accept your request
now i’m stripping off my socks
as i watch you get undressed
along my body a pair of blue eyes walks
my confidence thriving at best
kisses as dizzy as spinning clocks
hands i find gently caressed
peaceful as an old mother hawk
watching babies fall asleep in a nest
