wasn't popular at all

like life imitating art

paralyzed by fear

people outside my door now
their voices are taunting me.

love knocks on my door
I tell it to go away

seashore soothing

love without passion

thor speaks thunder claps
they echo right up close then

love and good friendships

school days can be cruel
teams are picked, your name left out
never teacher's pet.

you present yourself as caring
superficially.

it is nice to be needed
to be wanted better yet
to be loved is the best

glance in the mirror
distorted image looks back
vanity still laughs.

this life holds all hope
the story incomplete
