Reward
We all experience sorrow
And it would be wasted
If we didn't tend to grow
With the problems that
We all do have to face

through all the anguish
and thru all of the pain
We do need to remember
That Lord had to suffer
But did rise the third day

His word never changes
and He is with us always
Unto the end of the age
Remember on the Jordon
When he rose he did say

And life does go and on
And tomorrow still comes
No matter what happens
World still does revolves
Through sorrow and pain

And the paths we do take
May all have their thorns
Causing sorrow and pain
But the roses they do bear
Shall become our reward

Eternal Life
I gaze upon
Majestic visions
Hidden secretly
For many centuries

I search the ruins
For explanation
but only encounter
deeper mysteries

Thoreau chased
The serene existence
Where at Walden
He did find it

Emerson found
A door in time
Wrote the Brahma
In it's rhythm

But will mankind
Ever survive
though passive
Meditation

Can man reach
His destiny
And finally fulfill
His expectations

Power itself
Is no easy task
You think it's luck
And so u laugh

But no amulet
Of gold or silver
Shall ever light
The chosen path

And no talisman
Of wood or lead
Will help ease
All of you pain

You will see
That in the end
Pain and sorrow
Will still remain

Only  with faith
In our Savior
Can we ever
Hope to attain

The very keys
Of eternal Life
And our release
From all our pain

I Don't Mind
I don't Mind
Living with mice
As they scurry
Across the floor
And they hide
In the corner
By the door

They have nothing
To fear from me
Though at times
They can be
So annoying
They keep me
company when
I am lonely

I don't mind
Writing poetry
That nobody
Will ever read
It's just that I
believe  it is
important to me

And I don't mind
Being lonely
I have my books
And memories
All of my dreams
That can never be

Cast Iron Grave
To some this life
Is like a cast iron graves
Where every tomorrow
Is so hard to face

And I've heard it said
So many times before
Don't not be afraid
To live out your life

Live for today and
Don't worry about tomorrow
But this life is so hard
When you are in sorrow

Victims of Justice
We never learn
Until it's too late
Until the price
Has been paid

We fill the jails
And lock the doors
While the problem
....Is ignored

Bribes are paid
Pulling the strings
Insuring consequences
That they bring

And the objectives
Of political platforms
Belong to Lobbyist
And citizens are ignored

And the poor
Are the victims of justice
A commodity of sorts
In corporate decisions

Way Of Life
Science is blind
Without alchemy
It's almost in vain

Magic... is out
Of the question
Not worth the pain

But a wise man
Knows his limits
Does not strain

He just builds
On what he has
A waiting......
A second chance

ASTRAL PLANE
Been loosing track of time
But on astral  plane there's
No time; no determination
Just on this third plane I do
Struggle to live and to exist
Within' Time's existence of
Fear, astral projections from
The  astral plane that exists
Right above us as negative
Actions and emotions does
descend upon us all as wars
Hatred and negative energy
That is destroying us and I
Can feel it as it awakens me
From my sleep; and believe
That I 'm dreaming  I open
My eyes gazing about me I
See a shadow of my soul as
It rises into the hallways of
darkness opens a door to a
Ever lasting twilight and it
Passes beneath a image of a
self Portrait I turn a corner
Not knowing what to expect
But understanding that my
knowledge will emerge and
Sooner later truth shall also
Be learned my mind seams
Pass lost dusty archetypes
Unconscious clues that will
Never die upon a some end
less shore at eternity's door
I do turn and I face the void

Two Sides
Listen to the wind
Within' it's existence
As it is calling out
Unto silent space

Casting the leaves
Into all directions
Caressing the skin
That's on my face

Bending branches
Of swaying trees
Casting shadows
That are so spooky

Carrying the clouds
Through the skies
Through the top of
The mountain high

But it can also bring
Disasters and storms
Tornados  and also
Bring us hurricanes

Just like every thing
It may bring sorrow
But there is more to
life than just our pain

Dispair
I know that this sorrow
Will one day disappear
My illusive happiness
Will come and take over

Despair's the true culprit
As it knaws on your soul
It's fierce determination
Makes it a formidable foe

Until you can't envision
How you shall prevail
And you fear that fate
Does cast it's betrayel

Red Ball In the Sky
Morning fell upon me
As I waited for the bus
So with my eyes I seen
Rising of the early sun
Orange ball of burning
Fire it had slowly rose
From a distant horizon

It was rising for a hobo
As he walked along the
Rail road track carrying
A pack on his shoulders
With a torn baseball cap
sitting side ways on top
Of his hairless bald head

And rising for a migrant
Picking fruit on a ladder
And the little children in
Their games an laughter
For the poor and middle
Class and the millionaires

And soldiers in the war
And ****** addicts that
Don't care and the wino
On his concrete bed but
it may not matter to him
he may be already dead

So who am I to judge to
wonder why we all have
faults and demons in dis-
guise not even sun does
criticize it's warms is for
everyone the sun is a red
ball in the sky

Heart's Devotion
As we watch each
other with lonely
eyes it's then that
I realize with my
Heart ;my mind
It's but a picture
That I do see yet
it's seems to seek
And to  penetrate
Veil of my loneli
ness as I do seek
Your gazing eyes
But then I realize
It's but a picture
I see before me
I see you 'neath
The stars though
We are far apart
My love for u is
Never doomed
And if the day
Finds me asleep
Your image still
Stirs my emotion
As I do seek you
In my dreams to
Sooth my hearts

On The Balcony
Upon the balcony
I  did came to exist
Those summer days
Stayin' within Paris

On the  lounge chair
I laid down to  sleep
In order to get away
From  summer heat

In the morning I had
Slowly awaken for I
Smelled breakfast as
As it came up rising

And also heard some
one singing a melody
as if to me voice as if
in a dream a memory

From balcony below
A haunting beautiful
voice from a face I'll
Never come to know

On balcony I existed
Looking down upon
The leaves and as nite
Begin to fall I can hear
Her singing tenderly

Content
We're all like tailors
Mending our sorrow
Lost within' a career
With no tomorrow

And what good is
A constant struggle
And yet we never
Reach all our goals

And we all just sit
Within' our homes
Content to have a
Place of our own

Content to sit and
Merely to  grow old
While our destinies
We never do know

Greater Purpose
As I went out one day
I gazed to the horizon
To Cascade mountains
Wondering how long
They've been standing
How can we think we
Are so very imperative
When our existence to
Them is merely seconds
Think of the mountains
They seem so everlastin'
Yet where were they all
As universe was formin'

With Out You
Have seen a raging river
So full in the early spring
As it's rushing down the
Mountain and life that it
Does bring the jumping
Silver spanning salmon
As it struggles to it's far
And distant destination
I have seen green forest
Meadows when it seems
Just like a dream and the
Colorful flowers that are
Growing near a pure and
A rocky mountain stream
All of this I have also seen
And the whispering pine
In the whispering winds
And songs the birds sing
Searching for a mate with
Songs of love that they do
Imitate and clouds sailing
Across the light blue sky
Yet all of this means very
little with out you within'
my life

Final Destiny
Some pangs of life
Does bring sorrow
A pain so deep that
Agony may follow

But Little concern
For the abused of
Earth like the poor
starving children

In hot African dirt
But we may drive
Our sport cars on
The highway roads

Unmind full of life
Hunger does hold
Paying no attention
To sign of the times

We continue to party
As innocents do die
Hunger and decease
Do ravage their lives

Learning To See
To gaze upon the evenin' sky
The golden moon and silver clouds
Makes it easy to realize
The awesome power that stirs about

The beauty and the mystery
Serene and in control
The magic twilite moment
That stirs my very soul

My friend and teacher Don Jaun
Had spoken of the door
Within' the twilite sky
When darkness greets the light

Reached through meditation
The knowledge that proceeds
Though time and through patience
The last dance a warrior makes
When he is ready to die

Before he seeks another life
And has fulfilled the destiny of his soul
Yes the magic twilite moment
That does stir my very soul

In Due Time
Some day we'l
All be free with
No more bonds
Of painful and
lonely memory
We shall recall
Good times we
All had but not
A painful death
That lurk ahead
Will be no more
rich and no poor
no loneliness no
war shall know
The very God he
Searches for but
Not in the heaven
Where stars dwell
But in fellow man
In him self

One Gentle Morning
Morning  lent
A gentle hand
And wakening
A sleepy dawn

Spreading life
All trough out
The land with
It's early song

As rays of sun
From  horizon
Start to spread
Across the sky

To bring about
The new dawn
With a passing
Of dark night

my soul roams
Into a meadow
Across a silent
Running brook

Into the vortex
Of my dreams
As I lay in bed
Sound a sleep

This Pale Moon
This moon I do see tonight
Who else has seen this sight
This pale moon I see tonight

Perhaps Helen of Troy
Had seen this very sight
As she looked into the  sky

And she held Paris in her arms
And  looked into the sky
And had seen this very sight
The pale moon I do see tonight

Or perhaps Juliet's anxious eyes
Had seen this very sight
Waiting for Romeo to emerge
From the distant tree line

Did Jane Austin see this sight
The pale moon that I see tonight
Inspiring her as she gazed into the sky
To write pride and prejudice during
The romantic poets era's time

Or maybe Mary Shelly's vision
Did look into the dark cloudy sky
And had found the inspiration
To write her novel Frankenstein
when she had  seen this very sight
This pale moon that I see tonight

True Love
However humble
Shall love come
It might also seek
To hurt some one

As apathy or pain
can also descend
To make a enemy
From ones friend

There are no bonds
In our love so deep
As it must also flow
So sure and so free

There are no locks
On true love's door
It is not just a duty
Or personal reward

And do not strive
And make a deal
Can't even explain
The way that u feel

with burning desire
Exactly like a runaway
herd of burning fire

Making me thankful
In my very existence
As our love became
A fiery experience

I didn't find myself
Until I found you
like a destiny that
I had to go through

Love Distroyed
I will see the stars no more
Hung high in the nightly sky
For being without your love
Is like being without my life
For my heart beats still as stone
And my blood is cold as ice
When I am here all alone
In the darkness of the night
For world will never pause
And heed a love destroyed
And existence does become
A empty and a useless void
For world is power and money
To enslave the soul of man
And songs of war and hatred
Are all that he does understand

Yet time has it's advantage
Being here with you neath

Storm drink the crispness
Of the morn to make love
Stronger when were apart

Soft
Soft
As a summer day
On the shores
Of the lake
As we wander
And sit down
On a broken down
Short pier
Away from
Civilization
And it's cares
As you whisper
Words to show
That you care
And you are soft
Around your
Shoulders
As your strapes
Hold up your halter
Strapes of cotten
And of lavender
Your hair is up
way I like it
Ur ear rings flash
In the sunset
I can smell the
fragrence on
On your neck
Soft....
As a summer day
On the shore
Of the lake

Love Calls
Love does call
Upon us all
Sheding warmth
On our souls

Love calms
Our stormy seas
And calls to
Our inner peace

Not even kings
Are free of love
For they must Have
More than us

So when love calls
Remember my words
It's not very easy
Finding one who cares

Lonely Nites
The nites are so loney
And cold in my bed
But if you were with me
I would be warm instead

Love makes us all feel
It knaws at our senses
To many taste is sweet
To others it's bitterness

But it's sweet to kiss her
Taste full ness of her lips
But then I will miss her
After that brief stolen kiss

Little Bit of Love
Just a Little bit of love
By the side of the way
Just a little bit of love
Someone threw away

Just a little bit of love
That nobody wants
Just lay it all down
And I'll pick it up

We feed our bodies
Lets feed our souls
And spread our Love
Where ever we go

Just Little bit of love
That nobody wants
Just lay it all down
And I will pick it up

Painful Memories
In the ghetto street
I had made a stand
And far away from
A American dream

With no way for me
To become or actieve
All the things that I
Always hoped to be

In the ring of poverty
I punched out blindly
Only hurting nobody
But just myself only

So with no realizaion
Of all my expectations
I became so hope less
and lost in  a social hell

Unanticipated realities
Swallowed my  dreams
Spitting out the mesery
Of my painful memories

Goddess of Love
Among the ruins of my hopes
I was the constant dreamer
Wounded by your arrows
Oh timeless maiden of love

Yet your power does fail me
When ever I do give my heart
I become the constant looser
when love does seem to part

and all the invisible scars
That my heart always indures
Will leave a permanet mark
That shall never ever heal

So do not cast your arrows
Toward my heart any more
For I can't bear the sorrow
That they do have in store

Goddess of love  spare me
From your whims and cares
Take your arrow from my heart
For there is no love there

even if mankind isn't
around to even care

and on my sorjoourn
