We all experience sorrow
And it would be wasted
If we didn't tend to grow
With the problems that
We all do have to face

through all the anguish
and thru all of the pain
We do need to remember
That Lord had to suffer
But did rise the third day

His word never changes
and He is with us always
Unto the end of the age
Remember on the Jordon
When he rose he did say

And life does go and on
And tomorrow still comes
No matter what happens
World still does revolves
Through sorrow and pain

And the paths we do take
May all have their thorns
Causing sorrow and pain
But the roses they do bear
Shall become our reward

I gaze upon
Majestic visions
Hidden secretly
For many centuries

I search the ruins
For explanation
but only encounter
deeper mysteries

Thoreau chased
The serene existence
Where at Walden
He did find it

Emerson found
A door in time
Wrote the Brahma
In it's rhythm

But will mankind
Ever survive
though passive
Meditation

Can man reach
His destiny
And finally fulfill
His expectations

Power itself
Is no easy task
You think it's luck
And so u laugh

But no amulet
Of gold or silver
Shall ever light
The chosen path

And no talisman
Of wood or lead
Will help ease
All of you pain

You will see
That in the end
Pain and sorrow
Will still remain

Only  with faith
In our Savior
Can we ever
Hope to attain

The very keys

I don't Mind
Living with mice
As they scurry
Across the floor
And they hide
In the corner
By the door

They have nothing
To fear from me
Though at times
They can be
So annoying
They keep me
company when
I am lonely

I don't mind
Writing poetry
That nobody
Will ever read
It's just that I
believe  it is
important to me

And I don't mind
Being lonely
I have my books
And memories
All of my dreams
That can never be

To some this life
Is like a cast iron graves
Where every tomorrow
Is so hard to face

And I've heard it said
So many times before
Don't not be afraid
To live out your life

Live for today and
Don't worry about tomorrow
But this life is so hard
When you are in sorrow

We never learn
Until it's too late
Until the price
Has been paid

We fill the jails
And lock the doors
While the problem
....Is ignored

Bribes are paid
Pulling the strings
Insuring consequences
That they bring

And the objectives
Of political platforms
Belong to Lobbyist
And citizens are ignored

And the poor
Are the victims of justice
A commodity of sorts
In corporate decisions

Science is blind
Without alchemy
It's almost in vain

Magic... is out
Of the question
Not worth the pain

But a wise man

Does not strain

He just builds
On what he has

My illusive happiness

Despair's the true culprit
As it knaws on your soul
It's fierce determination
Makes it a formidable foe

Until you can't envision
How you shall prevail
And you fear that fate
Does cast it's betrayel

Morning fell upon me
As I waited for the bus
So with my eyes I seen
Rising of the early sun
Orange ball of burning
Fire it had slowly rose
From a distant horizon

It was rising for a hobo
As he walked along the
Rail road track carrying
A pack on his shoulders
With a torn baseball cap
sitting side ways on top
Of his hairless bald head

And rising for a migrant
Picking fruit on a ladder
And the little children in
Their games an laughter
For the poor and middle
Class and the millionaires

And soldiers in the war
And ****** addicts that
Don't care and the wino
On his concrete bed but
it may not matter to him
he may be already dead

So who am I to judge to
wonder why we all have
faults and demons in dis-
guise not even sun does
criticize it's warms is for
everyone the sun is a red
ball in the sky

So full in the early spring

Silver spanning salmon
As it struggles to it's far

I have seen green forest
Meadows when it seems
Just like a dream and the
Colorful flowers that are
Growing near a pure and
A rocky mountain stream
All of this I have also seen
And the whispering pine
In the whispering winds
And songs the birds sing
Searching for a mate with
Songs of love that they do
Imitate and clouds sailing
Across the light blue sky
Yet all of this means very
little with out you within'
my life

Some pangs of life
Does bring sorrow
A pain so deep that
Agony may follow

But Little concern
For the abused of
Earth like the poor
starving children

In hot African dirt
But we may drive
Our sport cars on
The highway roads

Unmind full of life
Hunger does hold
Paying no attention
To sign of the times

We continue to party
As innocents do die
Hunger and decease
Do ravage their lives

Makes it easy to realize
