What was love once

turned into memories,  

memories turned into ink,

ink turned you into poetry,

poetry made you immortal.

I am still in search of my place
in the world.

In hope,I start
then stop to ask:
Is this where I belong ?

Everything works fine at the start
then it falls apart .

So I move on ,
Start over ,
stop again to ask :
Do I really belong here?

I have started again
now I am afraid to stop and ask
once more :
Is this the place where I belong?

After all, I am only a speck of dust
amongst the galaxy of stars.

This is my story .
How I came to be .
Lying unconscious,
In my death bed
Waiting for the inevitable
Alas! I came back to life
Woke up all alone
Sad and lonely
No one to care or love
Thought dying would have been better
Was fascinated by the world of Art
Drawn towards Monet, in particular
Started to dream,
To paint like him
Soon to realize
It was a dream, too far out of reach
Felt lost again
Wondering , to which world do I belong
So I took to writing
And this is how I came to be.

मैं ना रहूं कल तो
मेरे जाने का  कोई  गम ना करना |
मेरे गम  में अपनी आंखें नम ना करना |
हो सके तो दिल से भुला देना मुझे  |
याद जो आऊ कभी तो
मेरा कोई नगमा गुनगुना लेना |
ये सिर्फ़ शब्द नहीं
दिल के जज़्बात है मेरे
हर नगमा में छुपा एक दिल की धड़कन है |
इन्हे  संभाले रखना तुम
इनमें ज़िंदा में रहूंगी सदा  ||

I know not what you seek.
Don't understand the language
you speak.
All I know is,
you  possess a heart of gold–
a precious treasure
that cannot be sold.

Your kindness is like,
an unending river.
Wherever you go,
you spread love
and pleasure like a gentle breeze.

You are bound to no one,
yet you belong to everyone
whomever you touch.
Who are you,  
an enigma that I seek?

Your words have cut so deep

I don't know where

I belong anymore

Happiness passes by me

My pain screams in silence.

Need to be bold —
if you are to
take on the world.

Need to be bold—
if you are to take a stand
for what you believe in,
without the fear of
what the future may hold.

Need to be bold—
to accept the fact that
if you speak your mind,
you are going to have
more enemies than friends.

When the world

turns against you,

who do you

turn to?

If  I  got to choose
what would I be
A butterfly or a bee?

I would choose to be a bee
Not beautiful,  not desirable,
yet happy,
I will fly free .

Touch me - I will sting.

You judge a person
As if it's your birthright
As if it's your only purpose in life
You pass your judgment
By listening to one side of the story
You judge a person
Not by their character
But by their attire,
By the colour of their skin
By the way they look.
By their economic conditions.
Who are you to judge?
Are you so flawless?
Are you so perfect?
Are you that good?

Why do we have to always compete?

Why should we always have to prove
that we are better than somebody?

Why is just being good not enough?

Our meeting was nothing short of an accident.
We developed a friendship, out of nowhere.
The time we shared together was filled with adventure.

Then we reached that point in the road where we had to go our separate ways.  
So we parted ways with heavy hearts,
Though physically separated, 
we were always in each other's thoughts.

Now that the journey of life is about to end
I stopped, thinking what life would have looked like, had we made the journey together.

As I look back
searching for him
to see him one last time
to bid him the final goodbye.

I heard thunder
It woke me up
There he was
Standing next to me,
looking at me, smiling.

Now I know what life would look like
without him in it.
It feels like a second chance
A chance to change the course of my life.

But I am still in a dilemma –
which road to choose.

People who think
it's okay to hurt someone
for their own merriment

will one day find it the hard way
when life itself becomes their mirror –
showing them the monsters
they carry in their mind.

What was love for me
Was only a game for you.
I gave you all my love
You have torn  my heart apart
Shattered my life.
All my dreams turned into nightmares
All sweet memories turned  to bitter poison
My heart suffers in agony,
by the deep wounds you have gifted me.

All in the name of love.
O' how I wish I were born without a heart.

Before you, I was high spirited,  
carefree and somewhat careless.

You entered into my heart,
as I left it guardless.

The words you spoke,
left me speechless.

Your kindness,
made me selfless.

Your love,
made me breathless.

My love for you
was flawless.

Yet, one day you left me,
leaving me clueless.

Your departure,
left me helpless.

My every attempt to forget you,
turned out to be useless.

The voice in my heart keeps asking,
how can a person be so heartless?

Don't you know?
Can't you tell?
Without you, I am lifeless.

Flowers blooming.
My garden filled with fragrance.
Butterflies everywhere.

We came to this world,
with our hearts bound together.
It's written in the stars.
Forever we shall be together.
No matter how far away we go from each other.
Fate will bring us back together.
Far or near, we will always find each other.
In this world and beyond,
our love will shine through.
A love, like a guiding light
to light up the path,
for other lovers to find and follow.

If I had two hearts
I would give them both to you
As I know how much you like
Breaking hearts.
You enjoy being loved
But you don't love
Perhaps you can't
Maybe you don't have a heart
I can't help it, I love you
Love is all I have for you
I would give you both my hearts
With a hope beyond hope
That someday you too will learn
To fall in love.

I stepped out in the world

in search for my place

in the world of colours,

lost, somehow found my way

in the little known world

of literature.

While still surviving

in this world of words,

unsure what my future holds.

Don't shed tears,
Over my dead body.
I am no longer in there.
I am free now ,
From the ******* of life .
You call me dead,
I feel more alive .
Keep me in your heart.
Keep me in your memories .
We will meet again ,
Through your dreams.

To accuse someone without knowing

the whole truth is a crime in itself.

You are lucky
if you still have hope
for the return of your love.

To still have the dream
of holding each other's hands
in the sunset of your life.

Not everyone is so lucky
for some, love always remains
a distant dream.
No hope to hold on to,
no one to wait for.

Just empty life
to live on.

Once kindness you showed
Now there is only hatred
O, how time changes.

I followed my heart,

I found you.

Are you my destination?

My friend from a distant land

asked me —

What does freedom mean to you?

I replied :

"To walk on the streets of my country

any time of the day or the middle of the night

without the fear of being *****.

To live and work in any part of my country

without the fear of being beaten

black and blue for not knowing

the language.

Practice any religion or be an atheist ( which

I am) without the fear of getting killed.

But more than anything  —

the freedom to choose,

to live my life the way I want

not just survive,

never surrender to anyone's wish or will."

She is not perfect —
her beauty lies in her imperfection.

A land of many languages and religions
Diverse landscapes —
From snow-capped mountains to deserts.

A land of vibrant cultures and festivals,
where every part of the country is unique.

Her strength lies in her diversity,
but under the national flag
we stand united.

You didn't ask questions,
never waited for any answers.
You only assumed,
accused, abused, humiliated—
called me a stalker.

Why can't problems be solved
with a little patience and understanding?
A little kindness doesn't harm.

We are the ones with words—
we should know better
what words can do.

I am not made of stone,
my heart bleeds too.

Hold on to hope

someday, one day,

everything will be all right.

Love will find its way

to your heart.

How will you know
what I feel for you,
for you have no access to my heart?
How will you know
when my heart breaks,
for it will not make any sound?
How will you hear
if my heart calls out your name,
for the voice of my heart is silent?
How will you know
that I am gone,
for you have no access to my home?
How will you answer me
if I don't ask?
How will you meet me
if I die?

I always thought
I meant something to you
A burden.  
Now I know.

One morning
I woke up to a
strange sound  
outside my door.

I opened the door
with a little caution,
and what did I see?

A cute, green, friendly ET
trying to tell me
he's lost his way
and need a little help
from me.

So tired from his trip
from far beyond the Milky Way
that he fell asleep
right at my door.

What happened next??

              I

         Woke
      
           Up.

Love is not hollow

Its path is not easy to follow

It exists without any reason

Yet, you feel it in every season

Love is tough

Love is wise

Love is wild

Love is......just love.
