I thought I knew me
Inside and out
But now I just feel lost at sea

Do you like boys or girl?
Do I really have to decide right now?

What's your religion and your beliefs too?
Please don't ask me
I haven't got a clue.

And there's so many people to influence you
Who do you choose?
Nobody listens when you try to explain
They say it's just hormones
But maybe it's really pain.

Boys can't cry and girls have to be polite
But who made up these rules and why?

So many people who are suffering quietly
And no one  knows their secret anxiety.

Too many cultures being judged
By stupid stereotypes
God, everyone is so hypnotised.

People label and judge us way too quickly
But they just can't see us clearly.



Why do we do this?
It isn't fun.

But who are we?
Who do we want to be?
What influence do I want to have
On the world and me?

I want to die with memories,
And no regrets.
I don't want to leave any words unspoken,
Or relationships broken.
I wanna live, not just survive,
I want to surround myself with people who make me feel alive.

I want to trust people
Who I know are good,
No matter what others say,
Because I would.

I don't want to care about
Others opinions,
Because they are just a few
Among billions.

I want to live every second of everyday,
And be myself, no matter what others say.
I want to be independent, and I know who's good and bad,
Who to trust, and then I'll be glad.

If I live with no regrets,
And just be myself,
I guarantee I will live my best.
