A Stranger Bleu Dec 2024
So today made a pact with tomorrow
to run away.
Gently closing the door as I lay.
Leaving me here alone with yesterday.
I sigh as I wonder why if anything perceived as being  love should ever wither and die.

And if so then how do we know whether it's real and not just the after glow.

Because people change, feelings get rearranged leaving what was once joined at the hip broken and estranged.

That being said  I think love exist not in our hearts but only in our heads and maybe we're all a little deranged.

Strange flowers
with a strange hue.
Strange birds over them flew.
From a strange leaf dripped a strange a morning dew.
Still nothing stranger...
than an estranged you.

A time revisited.

Sticks and stones,
blood and bones and words can definitely hurt you.
I sit at my window entertaining a blank stare.
Yesterday waves goodbye as if I really care.
For tomorrow is another day, I assure you I 'll be there sitting by my window entertaining a blank stare.
