HAPPINESS
Like a chirping bird on a morning bright,
Happiness perches, then takes its flight -
Though every soul longs for the treasure,
To uncharted jungles of no pleasure!

Whimsical illusions smudge clueless mind
The delusions of grandeur may blind –
Emotions of opposing forces fight
Whirling us down through darkest night!

Like an eel in the jungle’s darkened streams,
Happiness slips through our wildest dreams!
Showers blossoms the spring, to sick and old –
The same drowns with fear the youth, bold?

GPS may track the trails on land, not within,
More complex are they, than you imagine.
Avoid the bizarre swamps that design
The maze to escape into a path benign!

Ah! a coin dangling in the mind’s realm
Each side, bright and dark – note them
Four demons trudge across the mind;
Rage, greed, envy, pride each at other’s hind.

Decamp they may with happiness hushed.
Sweep them aloft with a blow of “must”
That annihilates the thoughts of anxiety
To marry happiness with utmost propriety!
The poem is the result of my enlightened out look on happiness and unhappiness.

BOREDOM
Until it bored my heart to bleed,
I have never thought it could descend on
A soul ever active and alive to calls innumerable!
It has nothing to do with sleepless nights
Nor speechless days either! All that around
Lose colour of your taste and endurance
It is a figment of your mind that fails
To find anything interesting and shoves you
Into a self-centric-circle that has no exit -
Before it could be active –
Dislocate the numbness in brain
To check what is anew around!
Nothing you learn from the sneaky
Boredom that would engulf your self
If you cared not for the mess, it made
In your brain and body in total!
My empty days after my personal loss made me write this poem.
