Vulnerability
I think being nonchalant is meaningless ; no one has ever been fulfilled in their life by living that way. True fulfillment demands an aching vulnerability, a willingness to expose one’s soul to the rawness of existence. In a world dulled by apathy, I find that only through grappling with my anguish can I create something that resonates. It is in this struggle, this relentless pursuit of meaning amid chaos, that I uncover the shards of beauty that make the torment worthwhile. We paint over our wounds with indifference, believing it will spare us pain, yet in doing so, we deny ourselves the beauty of passionate, unfiltered experience. Vulnerability is the crucible in which authentic relationships are forged.

Not knowing
I believed in love before I met you, and now I believe in the empty feeling you left me with. It’s not entirely your fault, your role in my life was simply to affirm what I’ve always dreaded. The feeling was there before you, and it will be there long after I’ve forgotten you. I bit the forbidden fruit of love, and just like those naked fools I’ll always mourn the person I was before committing the sin of passion. Ignorance is safe, reality is a constant sting that never dulls.
