lonely woods
near
gather in
while
saying
lord
deep
within

fill
thy
cup
with

stretched
out across
the
nimble sky
hangs
the
quarter moon
like
the
tiger stripped
cheshire cat
with
a
whiskey smile
and
bloodshot eyes
thus
wanting
to
know
who
are you
with
a
pleasent
whiskey smile

at the crack of dawn
oh
what
joy rests inside the heart
while my heart revolves around
the wild scent of the blue moon
nest the black-tailed cockatoo
white and yellow crown displayed
black and orange feather arrangement
upon the breast and wings
leaping from the canopies of tropical trees
ascending towards the Serengeti-blue sky
thus
a beautiful sound  
resonating through the atmosphere
making the sound of golden coronets
while thanking God
for the humble birdsong prayer
asking for its daily bread

statues

made

drifting clouds

just
before
the
quiet storm
birds
huddle up
to
keep
themselves
warm
while
clinging

the
strong
branches

sunlight

that
spiritual
morsel
of
bread
that
speak
the
word of God
inside

this
