All day wrong
Yonah Jeong Nov 5
sleepless
outside the window at dawn
following the whispers of the forest
following the silences of the trees &
chasing their waves
Today's day unfolds
The figure of the morning thrown
Pal is ades Park
long long time ago
a piece of diamond
the solid Past
came on the train of Time
let's put up a fight again
tumbling in the palm of the hand
overflowing
Haze's bridge to the future
breeze...air...blow
with the triplets
This day
in the footsteps of sturdy emptiness
it leaves a trace
rehashing the obvious lies.

The Taste of Ink
Yonah Jeong Nov 4
Ink,
flavor that still tempts me
color green,
and black,
red,
but there is no white
like there is no black note
two flavors we cannot see
to make a better world
circle,
a triangle,
squares,
but we cannot see them
drawn in pen
words in ink will be
tomorrow?
Yonah Jeong Nov 4
rough waters
an endless sea of doom
sailors and passengers,
and the captain
are still sailing
Clouds over a blue sea
The moonlight becomes fog
and the stars twinkle
Taste like porridge
an atmosphere of hopelessness,
a ship in pieces,
and the harbor in their eyes
It is beckoning.......
Now, one by one, the peoples are lowered
the old man,
the women,
the children.
And then it is our turn
shivering in the freezing cold
Closer and closer to the sea
bells ring
people left behind gathered
at the top of the ship
But a boat appear
And it is a bigger boat than a big ship
A Lighthouse Keeper
running toward US
We get on the boat
on the extremist waves.

My Medical Stocking
Yonah Jeong Nov 3
With bad habits
Deep in my right leg
A small blood vessel clogged
Because of the pain in my right leg
I couldn't walk properly
after surgery
the doctor said
“You're going to wear
the strongest compression stockings
for the rest of your life
You'll always be standing on two legs
at all times.”
since then,
I've been able to stand on my feet
even when it's over 100 degrees Fahrenheit
my wife complimented me on them
I'm walking well, standing well, running well
And today,
I'm here to tell
since a year ago.
hesitating, hesitating, hesitating.
I received my wife's permission
to write poetry, to do research
typewriter
kicked out of the computer
I bought again it
for 150 dollars
My wife asked
“Do you really have to write on a typewriter?”
sound of the typewriter
typewriter ribbons that leave a trail of wrong things
I love them
I said
“Now typewriter is like medical stocking pair"
She laughed and held my hand.

Yonah Jeong Nov 3
“I bought this apple
thinking
it would be delicious
but it is not.”
“apple is just as good
whether it is tasty or not”
“Yes, but...”
as it breaks into pieces
the apple says
“the same for people.”

When the family goes to the beach
The adults jump into the waves
and sleep under the sun
they press their hats down
they whisper loves as they walk along the beach
The seagulls in flocks
looking for abandoned prey
they doesn't dream
from the horizon
watching for signs of an approaching ship
reading a book
For a men and a woman under the parasol
time does not pass
nor they shall not have the pleasure of labor
When the family goes to the beach
The children gather and play
and put their heads together
and build sand palaces
and watching the waves wash over them
Smiles..........

As you walk away
Yonah Jeong Oct 31
Guillotine fear is ******* into
the tunnel of frozen air
Mountain peaks watching from afar
becoming a writer's blade
White edge of manuscript paper
trembling
Night Winter prepares to leave. Already.
It hesitates at a fork
over wild cat's eyes
you say, "Come again"
It prepares to leave It
makes a moan
Mixing vinegar and hot peppers
Falls and falls and falls
The glasses come off
in the corner
The ice hockey player
In between life and death in an unjust war
Van Gogh's two eyes
Chopin's two hands
And with the vibration of a throbbing pulse
spring permeates into late winter
Winter permits early spring.

The Crossroads
Yonah Jeong Oct 30
We have
in front of the two-pronged path
always
hesitate
Which path will we choose?
If not
You are not a person
Again
At what age
when you want to make a different choice
If you don't regret it
you are not human.

Whatever joy
Yonah Jeong Oct 30
Whatever joy flows
        even the rivers of love
        the sky of love
        the starry sea of love
flow like the joy of love

deep, deep, deep
get ****** into
                           silence of the abyss
into silence of the deep abyss

just bread soaked with
       regret and tears
it just goes down throat

The first laugh of the first meeting
                     becoming joy
                     It flows away.

but I don't want to know
how
how your love began
now,

Because I can't
The words of love
I made
I want to read them.

The Line
Yonah Jeong Oct 29
early morning
when the hard day begins
at rush hour
people waiting for the bus
standing in a line
every day
the same time
in the same place
without greeting
without conversation
without shaking
Heads down
looking at a cell phone
waiting in the line
same people
standing upright
With an ecstatic expression.

Late October
Yonah Jeong Oct 28
A elk family
strolling leisurely While shaking head
from side to side

Holding on to autumn and driving away winter
Entering the Red Sea Forest
Stepping on fallen leaves and snowflakes

Someone's pretending to be
The frozen time is released
The day is printed out at the ATM.
Yonah Jeong Oct 27
As the days go by
Tomorrow is far away
The past fades away

The sky is high
The clouds are flowing
making rivers
and draw pictures on the earth

Endless fields of corn
The road

The corn
waving their beards together
and laughing
baring their teeth
with their arms open
Let's call someone
Between the arms
an echo passes through arms
and wet the farmer's chest
and wipe away the their
sweats and tears
and drips down the back of
the farmer's hand
raindrops..........

As the days go by
Tomorrow is coming
The past is coming

Too.

Wood-colored wallpaper all around
On the old table and floor
Pale morning shadows move
Stains or
oil droplets on the water
dancing cheerfully
In the square chests of drawers
coins sing while bumping
and dance
this is how start the day
In the kitchen, little Samuel
clapping and laughing with mom
with rice paste glued to cheeks
with his hands spread wide
where finds daily bread,
In the kitchen
love overflows like a zipper
riding the train rails
to a safe emergency exit
where language of secret air runs wild
one fall morning in the kitchen
where all beings undress and re-dress
where the feeling of blessing
begins to knead the day
and even silence turns into gold,
our kitchen on the way to winter
that makes the future decorated
my Mother  laborious Hug
Stay here Forever.

Lighthouse

a picture of the lighthouse
on four pins
On the left is a
the captain's steering wheel
and in the middle
below that
in front of a wooden wall
hundreds of years ago
hundreds of years ago
a child ship
In the centre of the landscape
a sails sewn with thread
7 blue curve waves like
a barbershop symbol
lighthouse,
in the picture
when it keep the ship moving?

next to an elderly evergreen
standing facing each other

in the calm morning breeze
like snow
fall on the evergreen's
red and reddish
Make it a young tree

In mid-October.

Old river speaks
Yonah Jeong Oct 23
The river never moves
Slithering
Snake steps like a tortoise
while leaving traces
The river shows the way out

The old river water
falls over the dam
leaving behind shining smiles
to look at the eggs
The river shows us the EXIT

We don't know
The joy in hardship
Sandy fields
We are here for you
for you. What a beautiful breath!

Even if you only blink your eyes
The river, the old river,
the old river stir
The unwavering sea and the stars
and says, ‘Why do you love me?’

small trees
in a field of yellow grass
Nearby
bending and
the shadows of old trees
curved and dried up
covering the grass
Over it
Emptiness flies
with the arrow of Vulcan
gray winds colors the sky
And a labor-exhausted man
sits down
with his right elbow on his left knee
and watches the hours
of the deepening nightmare
with someone else
among the scattering snowflakes.

When Spring Comes to Sabine's Hill
the hill becomes the sea
and Yellow Waves
Blue Waves
White waves and high waves
fills up the spring
flowing down
becomes a river of small spring things
full of daffodil colors
passes the ***** big city
passes the lonely islands
Sabine's hill is wet with water
Small, smooth pebbles
if blocked
while singing
while dancing, while flowing
Sabine Hill fears
neither water nor fire
like the wind
with its tiny, transparent bells
summer and autumn to come
and the winter that will silence them
on the waiting
The Hill of Sabine
The Chorus of Life
fading humanity of the 21st century
towards the dehumanized city
It is waving hands.

about Selection
Yonah Jeong Oct 19
by someone
being chosen
Isn't that a miracle?
even if we live a hell of life
how joyful and happy?
river water,
old mountains,
field,
clouds,
skies,
animals, plants, and even inanimate objects
are all on the side of the Chosen us?
we can do
to live or to die as we please
or not?
we talk,
or we sing,
we are having a party,
we fight and war
If we lose,
we win, don't we?

Because we were chosen by someone

Is it true, is it true?

That someone
although it was in a dream
clearly,
precisely,
sternly said

"I chose you because I wanted to show My Love
through you and
you are neither special nor deserving of choice."

i am struggled, soaked in tears, and cried out for
then I woke up from my dream.
