Restore the old love
Restore the old poetry
And
A rope woven with love and poetry
between the World Trade Center buildings
Walk the tightrope
Do not look down
Look ahead
See the welcoming gestures of waiting
words of the world
And meet them with tears of embrace
Write.

Human
and begin with genetics
are finished through education

If we begin with genetics
and are ended by genetics
we become animals.

in examining
wrongs done to you
and the actions you took
against others
It is there.

knead words
into the cheapest
and most filling
bread—freedom—
place it on the table.

Poetry is not action
Poetry is not passion
Poetry is not philosophy
Poetry is not power
Poetry is not guns and swords

When a poet becomes dishonest
they stir up chaos and disorder
with passion, philosophy, power, and guns and swords
Making people worship the cold, cruel history of Top Animal

Truly,
poetry is nothing
yet it creates the sustenance of such a man—
with indefference
By an unqualified poet

Even if a poet lacks all qualifications
There is one thing:
They must only be truthful—
Before themselves and before history.

A Poem shows
A Poem speaks
A Poem feels
A Poem moves us to act

It makes us grateful
for today
for yesterday
for tomorrow
without fear
for this place
for this moment
for this people

Even when my surroundings
surround and shake me
a poem becomes my comfort and friend
making my life the eye of the storm

The heart that loves poetry
The heart that thanks poetry
Makes us experience the value of existence

Generational difference
Wealth difference
Status difference
Appearance difference
Gender difference
Hobby difference
It discriminates against no difference whatsoever

If you love poetry, you love the world.

Calm and deep
Flexible
a mom's *****
Holding the feeling and time of falling
Carrying New York's secrets
A Hudson that thinks
Heading toward lower places
The gift of lake
That someone long ago swam across.
