rainbow
True and
when i was very young
after a summer shower
crossed the clear sky
a little rainbow
after unfold this and that side
pulled down
put it in the neighbor
bird nest
rainbow seven colors
left a secret place
climbed down tree poles
shook the flowering tree trunks and leaves
and jumped over the fence
swam through the glasses
came to me,
bowed down and grat “hello”
two eyes,
heart, tiptoe and
wet my childhood.

you can do mail
you can't be the postman
like a Fred.

If
if you do only what you like
you don't keep what you like

if you do also what you dislike
you do keep what you like.

all beings
leave suffering and joy

finding these traces:
showing the value of life

the sentry of history:
a poet.

who have less

not owners

"hug me”
four years old Jack
while sobbing
ever.
Yonah Jeong Sep 2024
Today
4-year-old Jack
not to go to school
He doesn't get out of bed
He doesn't even try to get dressed
He just cries
I finally calm him down
to get in the car
without getting out of the car
to avoid going to school
We go into the school
to avoid going into the classroom
just to cry
And then
the teacher comes out
and he can't hug her and she comforts him
I make eye contact with Jack and say
“The teacher loves you, Jack!”
And then
Jack leaves my arms and grabs his teacher's hand
and they walk toward the classroom
without looking back.
