In this part of the world the land is dry
The lack of rainfall makes you go insane,
The mountain tops rise high into the sky
And the gray clouds attack the ridge in vain.

The wind removes the sand, leaving behind
A lot of stones, which from the ground protrude;
This type of desert is unique in kind
And I am walking in a pensive mood.

From time to time, a blade of grass sticks out
Looking so lost in this deserted space,
But even though it feels the heat and drought
It doesn't care and shows a happy face.

Up in the sky, the sun is red and hot
The flames emerging from its burning core
Now hit the Earth with a terrific shot
And scorch the desert surface more and more.

But when you think you're lost and pray on knees
Because it seems that you can't make it through
An oasis with fresh water and palm trees
Appears in front of you out of the blue.

When it's dark, through the dense wood
The lost solitary *****
Makes his way, covered by hood,
In his hand with a bright lamp.

When the ship sails late at night
And by compass is betrayed,
Stormy waves having to fight,
By the beacon will be saved.

At the young age is the same
Those who want to see you thrive,
For yourself to make a name,
Guide you closely, teach you, strive.

On the other hand, it's true
Others also, day by day,
From afar they guide you through
Not to get lost on your way.

I shall leave, don't ask me why,
Even though my heart will break
I just want to say goodbye
And in peace my path to take.

Do not try to stop me now
I'm not doing something odd,
But I feel I'm pushed somehow
By the fate ordained by God.

Why to bother, to get mad
And to cry with bitter tears?
I know that you think I'm bad
For I'll be away for years.

But until we'll be some day
Old and burdened by the past,
Despite ruin and decay
Our memories will last.

And in other life, my dear,
Who knows, maybe I shall grieve
When you tell me loud and clear
That it is your turn to leave.

You were made from light, in glory,
Not from Adam's rib, my dear,
Like in the fantastic story
That in churches we do hear.

You have always been appealing
From the moment you arose
Because Eve means life and feeling
And this everybody knows.

You're a pillar of creation,
All this world with you began,
And a goddess of salvation,
And the other half of man.

In your absence, man would suffer,
He would matter not at all,
Wouldn't sin and would be tougher,
But his soul would be so small...

Deep hidden in a forest thick and wide
A tiny spider had begun to knit
Its lovely web, feeling so full of pride,
To catch from time to time a fly in it.

When it was done, it thought it did its best,
But afterwards, so tired it became
That felt the need to find the blessed rest
And in its web it huddled without shame.

Next day a squirrel looking for romance,
Who jumped on a green bow with skill and art
Hit with its long and bushy tail by chance
The fine, thin web and tore it all apart.

Watching the trouble helpless and resigned,
Instead of making a great fuss in vain,
The spider, because it is so designed,
Began to weave the fine web once again.

And all day long it worked with might and main
Because it hated to give up and sigh
And if it happened to be torn again
It would repair it without any cry.

Summertime. The sun is burning
Birds are chasing worms and flies
In my chest the heart is yearning
When I look into your eyes.

The blue sea is clear and friendly,
Like the cloudless sky above,
By the hand I hold you gently
Being glad and full of love.

And my blood is flowing wildly
When I touch your rounded hips
The cool breeze is blowing mildly
And I kiss your sweet, red lips.

In the sun, heat is oppressive
I am like a burning coal,
But I think the most impressive
Is that you ignite my soul.

And it is beyond suspicion
In this landscape so divine
You are not an apparition
For your body's close to mine.

Night is falling uninvited
Stars are twinkling, bright and free,
And I'm feeling so excited
When you say you're loving me.

Our souls are now united
Full of sensuality
And we're waiting thrilled, excited
To touch the eternity.

On this Earth – our lovely planet –
Which spins quickly and is strong
One can tell that there is something
Obviously going wrong.

Too much evil, too much malice
People have become so mean,
Have forgotten about virtue,
Their soul is small, unclean.

If we went to Mars, I wonder,
Or to our moon, some day,
Could we make a world much better
Than the one we have today?

Or would be far more exciting
To jump like a graceful deer
In a parallel dimension
Through a wormhole, without fear?

But we'll miss the Earth so badly,
Or at least so I believe,
Because here we still are able
Like in Paradise to live.
