Sleeping has become a dream
One so distant I can't feel.
It's just your face is haunting
Breaking me more by bringing back the throes

They keep saying nothing stays the same forever.
I guess they never told you that.
But I hope it heals slowly

Someone is living in my body
The person is neither demon nor godly
Just point blank, confused and destroyed
Makes me wonder why she was "deployed"
She looks everything like me but can't act as such
She is more a deer in a chase
Never settling down everything is haste
Watching my life from the sidelines
It's nothing as to how I live , how come?
Looking in the mirror, everything is the same but different
Knowing who she is , but no spark in her eyes
Her hope died out
Her eyes puffy red
You can see , it's life she dreads
Her life turned upside down
Nothing normal anymore so in depression she drowns
Living her nightmares as if they aren't abnormal
But what does it matter nothing is ever normal
I've seen enough to know that girl is me
The me I never wanted to meet

The pain I buried inside.
One so deep I had to hide.
It's because we never fixed the damage.
We just left everything in panic and frustration.

You were the one thing my heart yearns for.
All the pain shifted to my worst days.
The tornado in my head , making me hate being sad.

The panic in your eyes , shows the whole truth I had to hide.
The horrid past we kept buried , the one they don't fully know but envy.

The storm brewing is enough to **** me slowly.
The volcanoes erupting is enough to resemble you.

With all that we have been through.
You saw it as best to torment me with someone new.
The sacrs behind my smile is known by no one.

I pushed you over the edge.
I watched as you became the best of the worst.
I never beauty had unlimited rage.
Now I just accept that I'm your punching bag.
This poem is about women who stay in lovess and abusive relationships.
It focuses on how they accept the consequences and take it as if they deserve a what happens to them
