I want you to know how much I love you,
That I really appreciate all that you do,
The time that you miss cause your out working hard,
To ensure us some fun and a completed back yard!
I want you to know that it doesn’t go unnoticed,
My first thought when it’s raining is that “he must be ******!”
And that though the kids may argue and fight,
And drive me crazy from morning to night,
I really do appreciate that I’m the one that’s been there,
From nappies and dummies right through to school wear,
So if you look at the weather and wander why you even do it,
Just know it’s not wasted and don’t ever quit,
Cause it will all be worth it one day not far away,
When we are sat on that Palm, with no bills to pay!!!!! ***

So I'm writing to my mum on Mothers Day,
As the florist won't deliver so far away,
You have to remember a week before,
Even for a card to be delivered to the door!

My organisation skills leave a lot to be desired,
So as one and only daughter I really ought to be fired!
So am hoping this qualifies as next best option,
As I'm a little too old now to put up for adoption.

But I'm here to let you know you're a fantastic Mother,
And if I could choose the world over I'd have no other,
You've been there through my life in every which way,
Through thick and thin come what may.

You're my mum, my best friend, my rock, my star,
And to find one alike you'd have to travel far,
So I'm sorry no card came for you today,
But hope this makes up just a little of the way,
And that you had a great Mothers Day!

All my love, signed ******* Daughter! ***

I feel so beaten, like I just can't win.
I've hardly committed some major sin!
A few too many and a nasty tongue, should hardly conclude my marriage as done,
When my forgiveness has been endless when it comes to outbursts,
Which sure outdo mine at my very worst!
So the question to be asked is what the **** went so wrong?
From that passion we shared to 'this ain't got long!
Far too much coke, a little more wine,
Till we find ourselves searching for just a small sign,
Just something that says I'm still everything to you,
No matter who or what, I'd be front of the queue,
But the coke and the wine it's messed up our heads,
So full of accusations of he said she saids,
No more do I know what's real and what's not,
Whether I can be sure of what it is that I've got,
Cause that little white bag, it swallows up my life,
Given even a thought it's rage cuts like a knife,
Straight to the core of your now drunken wife!
