Why do we make things so difficult
when its really not that hard
no matter what kind of hand you get dealt
sooner or later your gonna have to play your cards
do you look at the glass half empty if so i don't know why
when there's nothing out of reach for you
even dreamers have to try,ya see you only get
out of life what your willing to put back in
just like money can't buy true happiness it
has to come from within
and how sometimes you have to go back to where you came from
to get to where your going i can tell you
it does not last long so live every second
like its your last and you can never ever go wrong...

Put this up in a place where its easy to see
the cryptic admonishment

Things Take Time

A poets words are sometimes hard to find
he's in search of a riddle that will somehow
rhyme
with a concept of wisdom and knowledge to express
as the words unfold he begins his test
to help one see what he feels inside
he unlocks his heart so there's nothing to hide
as he paints his picture with a graceful hand the words
become clear for all to understand
how he tries so hard to simply express
how the moral of the story is in the words of
the test.
