Super Sunday's flying by
The game is almost here
Lots of folks are loading up
On spicy wings and beer

Not long ago I thought I'd be
there-hanging on each play
As Ravens tore apart those guys
from San Francisco Bay

But they got crunched right off the bat
My favorites lost their skins
So now when I consider that
Don't give a **** WHO wins!

A train patiently waits
at the station
Its doors sit wide-open
Should you get on?
Wonder where it's going?
Ask THIS question
Satisfied where you ARE?
Well, if you aren't-
Why not get on and ride?
Give it a try
This could be last train out
Leaving you here
No more choices for you
Only regrets.

I'm 75, and am new to this board
At my age, have I been explored?
No! Even at my age, that phrase isn't true
Now matter how old; we can often find new

Over the years, I discovered some verse
That was a part of my own universe
So now I've dug down and am letting it out
From its many long years in subconscious redoubt

They say as years pass, your life will slow down
But not if you've found some gems in your ground
Life still bursts forth, with these new gifts unfurled
You still can be young in this brand new world

So search yourself deeply; look through and through
You may have a talent that you never knew
You may be old, but don't ever forget
You can always find treasure; YOU AIN'T DEAD YET!

Now that you're "woke" and a leftwing delight
accolades flow, and your future looks bright
Big fancy gigs, many $millions more
Of course you must realize you had this before

Beauty and talent with riches and fame
There was no need to sully your name
To betray all those people who took you so far
Who carried you platinum; who made you a star

But enjoy hanging 'round with your new entourage
And trading your values for their Marxist mirage
There's only one thing I would ask you about
How does it feel to be selling out?

Went out for a walk
    Was really quite nice
    A soft little breeze
    And no snow or ice

    Huge flocks of birds
    hung out in the trees
    An avian chorus
    chirped shrill melodies

    But soon I will see
    a thickening sky
    More typical weather
    will come dropping by

   And then after that
    this mildness will pass
    Big cold will descend
    and freeze off my ***.
