Is naivety a trait of the male?
A failing,a weakness,an expectancy to fail?

Or is it pushed and prodded and made to feel worse,
By someone you thought,should do the reverse.

Would you call me cynical,when I question everything,

Maybe its time to walk away,
Maybe its time to call it a day,

Maybe its time to make a brand new start.

Self assured,a thinker,by no means easily lead,
All these little platitudes,get deep inside your head,

Roses are red,Violets are blue,

If other people,who you don't know,read and understand,
Why cant the one you want,this just all wasn't planned.

If trust is earned,And love is won,

Stick or twist,lifes game is rigged,who knows whats in store.
Back to the start,surely not,I'm no longer twenty four.

Try as they might,people see relationships through different eyes.Try as I might,I can only see relationships to be full of lies.

When little lies are told,when your lust falls,like trust,
Do you persist in hope,or let things fall to dust

If you give your love,if you give your heart,
Is it really fair,to be back at the start.
