When the lorry thundered into the town
I ran and they called me a clown

I know but I don't want to wait till I break the glass
You can call me a coward
But I am free from the hungry claws of the hawk, Alas!

I see fire swallow the ocean
The wind blow without a single tree dancing
I see the cloud pregnant without a sign of birthing

I see the birds just flapping their wings without flying
I see the lion running away from it's prey
And I  see the demon to God pray

I see the sun with a face so full
I see mothers cooking their food without fire
All these I am seeing
They are. Unimaginable.
But, can they ever be true?

You are a softly singing bed
Under, where the tailed breathe
You are also the mother of the eight legged

Sometimes driven by force to be active
Sometimes too you are calm like an earth just fed with rain
Well, it is not your fault, it is nature

Dear River. Water.
I know I am not one of your big family
But will you allow me sit by your bank so that you can whisper?
Because you remind me of something

Dangling the keys in silence
The wails echo from the young and the old
With hearts so sore deep in His presence
We have come to bow to the blood of our fellows
on a day hot, even in the cold

It is everyone's soup, truly we know
But Oh cry, why have you tasted yours early NO!
You promised but they were fulfilled barely
You now left us, silent like the graveyard
We are strong but still weary

Darkness has illuminated our light
I have not heard that before
They came to take you away from our sight
Look at your stars, our dear beloved
They are now lonely in a world of pain
No more will they shine because you are now a vain

Your drums, now sounding bitterly
You rested too hot in his bossom
We mourn you but.........................
I can't write anyfurther
Your HOT REST makes my pen weak.
Oh death, why. They tested hotly in your bossom

I have known you since I was little
My mother told me scary stories about you
But I have grown to know that you are beautiful
Because just you are, like me too

You have been like a pet
I have cherished you since we met
You are me and I am you
You do like me and I do like you

We have been for so long a time
My companion, without collecting a dime
Though, your face is blank
I don't even know which colour
Just to be frank

You have followed like a tail
You have mimicked, you have been with me, even in the jail
I just want to ask " Will you still follow me to the home of every human? "
My ever faithful part
Will you stay or depart?
Shadow.

It is never cold in March
But this chill down my spine is unshakeable
As I walked to the bathroom the fourth time
I wonder who has been waking me up

I didn't see the face and to no one, it I could trace
But deep within me, I know it is my visitor
That person I know exists, but his face I have never seen

He came, he took my hand
I brushed it away but he held it back
I tried to cry and to whistle like a kettle but I was dry
I tried to shout, to reach out, but words failed me
I thought I was strong but no I was wrong

I knew after trudging through life
In which I was neither happy or unhappy he has visited
Then I tried to shake off the ghost feeling that enveloped me
But, my visitor was deemed to visit me

Then like being in a trance, for the last time
I found myself there in his arms our hands clasping like two lovers walking
The visitor, he took me away but there in my bed I was lying
My in and out gone!
This talks about death. The visitor here is death

Behind my smile is a thousand years
I have laughed. I have nursed my pains for years
And I have been like a soldier waiting for the general

I have not bended, I have been standing straight like the breast of a ******
I have not been weak, sick but always seek

But I promise. I promise to be loyal to my name
And to play so well the game
For surely, I know there would be a spark
Boom! One day, a light in the dark
For this, is my Hope
