As I look into my heart
I know with some I could never part
I try to hold my faith in you from the very start.
I often get misled.. and wander down a different road.
I ask within myself if only you could let me know.
The struggles that I have are neither few nor far between..
Yet I have to remember that you wrote this life especially for me.
Though I am not sure what it is I am here for ..
Please help me to see your will.
For everything you have me do will direct me closer to it still.
I am only human so I jump ahead when something doesn't go my way
But as part of a new year, a new time, a new space..
I will learn to see your face.
In all I do. In all I say. I will do life at your pace.
You have written my book long before I could see..
Now it's time I go searching for who I'm meant to be.
I ask again, from deep in my heart, please show me so that I can truly be part of this beautiful world which you formed from a heart.
