Carried on the wind
Tabatha Cromer Dec 2019
The wild wind whipped though
As casting from my soal
Under and threw branch's
Set in ice and snow
Licking at at frost bitten cheeks
And red noise
Delivering rememberance
Of past folly many nights ago
As the sun peaks
While the moon is clear
A time between neither here nor there
Wind searching with out a care
Fiercely blowing as I stare

Witch Hunt
Tabatha Cromer Dec 2019
Dealer of twisted tongue and traderous deeds
Striving to deceive
Parlay among the court and man
Yet justice has been lacked in the stasis it expands
Need I not draw my sword
Quickend to your cold heart
For what wrongs have I done
Deserving such verbal slaughter
Only wrong bond seathing from you
I who was enlightened to evil among man
For all dearest to drawn in the murky poison
Torched in vial tar as your presence smothers free will from grasp
Loving you only for a short time shall bring agony to even the calmest of minds
Not appearing as what you are
But even the best played shade fades Doomed are you for this small battle win
For vain is one who nay see farther then immediate gain
And yet shall be your undoing

Freight Train
Tabatha Cromer Dec 2019
The humming of a freight train
The vibration penetrating my bones Rope ever so indiferant to my tug Desperation sinking deep inside
My clenched stomach turning in rampant jolts
Heart pounding in accession to the knowing thoughts
That race so loosely among the static Only a count down persist
Till fate as equal to deadly comes
Not able to move from this spot
I have found myself bound
For I hear no screeching on the tracks
As it plummets towards the target Breaking all defenses
In hopes to imprison once more my broken soal

Poundering
Tabatha Cromer Dec 2019
Sometimes to hear the loudest
You must stay quiet
Echoes fading into the distance
Alone in a endless space
With a neglected heart beat
Once ignored
Holding messages in store
Time stopping for a moment
Observing what is needed
While breathing slowly preseeding
Waiting patiently
To understand the meaning

Alone Merriment
Tabatha Cromer Dec 2019
All alone with my drink in hand
Among dark and open land
I lift my cup to the moon
My shadow greeting ,while never saying a word
With no one else
Am I in such good company
We sing of nights to come
And I see the stars dancing in the sky to a melody of there own
While still not compromised
I'm greatful to be among the night
The moon light streaming will fallow along
Care to join and share your song

List
Tabatha Cromer Dec 2019
Time so crass
It passes in a flash
Every day seems shorter
With little have I discovered
Never enough time for all I require
Time passing  threw my hands like air to fire
Over and over I comb threw my list
With hopelessness I'll crash while it still exists

The Pull
Tabatha Cromer Dec 2019
Drifting the abyss
Till stunted
Paralyzed resistance
Sometimes unwanted
No movement allowed
As a story unfolds
Only given a view
Upon stagnant suspense
Who are these characters
That come into play
Something to see from the past
Or the next may

Wings of Hope
Tabatha Cromer Dec 2019
Hope is that of delicate wings
Fluttering in the soal
In such conditions of aired space
Gliding high on currents unseen
Fluttering to new bonds
In moments departure
When shifting weather pours
Heavy becomes such delicate wings Dropping to a slow pace
Declining to lows forboding
As thy protection is washed away
Leaving but once more a wounded spirit
As hope has become immobile

Seeking
Tabatha Cromer Dec 2019
What is hidden I seek
Its not irrelevant to me
What you tell no one let hear
I will lay beside you year after year
Your heathen ways give me hope
I'll be unprejudice so never mope
Look deep into my eyes
Confide and advise
Both to play the role
Harmonious is my goal
I will be here to our last toll
So hide from me no more

Debt
Tabatha Cromer Dec 2019
To gaze upon the soft inlaid
Smooth petals of night shade
Blowing in tresses wild
Smile so wicked and pure
Bring suggestions cure
Drink in the smell carried on the wind
Lay the witching of thy strained heart
In steps carried revenge
To mark a scornful cheek
No words to speak
Dare not avert ones eye
For bitter tears don't lie
That have shed for he
Avenged in lapsed time
Sleepless wake and torn spine
All my heart has beared
In time you will know I swear
As Ravens pass along your path
A early tomb shaded by a cresent moon
And bass next to I will
For the chain and ball Fastening your own downfall

Pass
Tabatha Cromer Dec 2019
The first time is never like the last
When we sit here
And think about the past
Pondering when we had a blast
Back in time when little clashed
And we had a healthy stash
You ask....
Can you have a pass?
But this time is not like the

Human Awareness
Tabatha Cromer Dec 2019
We are all broken pieces of a larger scale
Disconnect and easy to sale
Marketed individuality with lacked unity
Governing pride with impaired empathy
Coveted land that belong to no single man
Will the pieces continue to lie in
Scattered desolation
With unity aside
Or will we align to even the scale
Generosity handing one another the glue
To meld , recover the forgotten you

Fear
Tabatha Cromer Dec 2019
Erratically  open
Indifferently flowed
For but a young one to know
To hide from what you see
And hope it not to be
In youthful ignorance fear persists
Sencing what made no since
Embracing a mess that drove her mad
Fighting less balance is had
Understanding now where she went wrong
No reason to fear all along

Resilience
Tabatha Cromer Dec 2019
We have strength within
To remember the hidden humm
The sound of the lost drum
Knowledge in our vains
To heal the sorrow and pains
Choose your own path
Don't let others determine your class
Rise from your bruised knees
Remember your a worrior please
Let them hear the scream of war
And know your very core

Hide and Seek
Tabatha Cromer Dec 2019
Like magic in the night
I move swiftly out of sight
Prudent is the silence
That awakens the inner knowing
Casting out my charm
Will he feel alarmed
Drawing closer to the race
To find our hidden space
Among the moon and stars
No easy task
Will I allow him at last
Or scurry across the grass
Towards the inner circle
Where the fire burns bright
To have one more glance
And then I'm out of sight

Weak
Tabatha Cromer Dec 2019
Many daggers to the heart
It's important to weild this turmoil
Into a fresh start
Exhausted maze over lapping days
Weary of trust that freely gave
Drained of laughter in earlier ways
Have I become stripped and bare
No more armor to spare
For it's heavy stature
Failed to compare

Cycles
Tabatha Cromer Dec 2019
Evolution or a false illusion
Mirror images of the past
Lost in translations grasp
Visions wresting too
Conquering threw the ticking hand
Half past man
Will this chapter end or continue my friend
Lessons to learn or repeat, return
To canvous your space
Until you resonate

Void
Tabatha Cromer Dec 2019
Gaping abyss
Paradox of the infinite unknown
Birthing duality in which secrets lay
Mysteries of all ages from thy day of old and new
Came forth Chaos spinning into syncrasy
With the depth of unspoken truths
While yet some thirst to quench Seeking what one can't perceive
Grasping for spiritual unknowns
Stepping into the in between
As breath was given and will recede
Is what the yawning void is to me

Separation
Tabatha Cromer Dec 2019
As bound my heart beats against this cage I weep
For is no great love that sorrow does not cloud
While gazing upon this lake full of regretful Moors
I am yet bound
Bound be I to a spell he did cast
Upon my soul forever last
Shall not I leave, for captive of his wilds
And yet at such distance I long for a tempered embrace
Shackled does not memory fade
Or the heart cave
For the beating heart strings only one song
Promises to carry on
For no truer love can I declare
Till yet no more life do I have to spare

Turmoil stricken
Tabatha Cromer Dec 2019
Unrelentless chatter as nothing matters
Have not your viperous sting fallen on my stricken heart
Cruelty crawling between lips of malicious distortion
Yet unconditionally insain
I continue in vain loving but this foul ego of man
The toll of betrayal laced and heavy deceit
As he batters prideful blame on me
With a sip of despondence
I carry on till
Once again I feel the spill
Of my heart bleeding stains on a forsaken bond
With no potion to mask the turmoil
Feverishly I have the need for he
Yet I carry on with this placid distraction
Leaving my mind no rest for it shall scurry towards the darkest corner
Of thy bleeding heart

Privalage
Tabatha Cromer Dec 2019
You don't decide who you love
But what is love to be had
False hope for the ******
Restless exictment to pass on
Replaced with  sickness of the gut and quacked chest
For one is always truer then it's predecessor
One always more intertwined in the art
I have but love for one man
But will falsely give to one more deserving
For this man I love deserves none
He does not deserve to feel my touch
For he replaced it
With the smooth feel of hops running down his throat
He does not deserve the sound of air leaving my lungs , neither of speach nor hum
For he replaced the sound of my breathing along his pillow side
With strangers moans and nights of ******* highs
He deserves not to see the tears lick my cheeks
For what a reward that would be
To remind him of what power he has over me
For what joy he finds in such wicked ways
The shadow of the man whom now stands today
