Fallen leaves in autumn
Remind me of my regrets.
Falling away to give way
For more of the same.

A deep vacuum
is what I feel
after detaching
from my lonely thoughts.

So let me drown
in my loneliness
for I don't want to float
in eternal space.

Four in a row,
And still some more.
But the peephole's still there,
And someone lurks behind the door.

Soft tresses
auburn, glowing
coral eyes
burning through me.
Your caress
oh, yes
leaves a trail
of memories.
Ruby bright
lips so full
a glint of crystal
within.
Save me
from my turmoil
etch me
into your heart
every beat
I promise
will resonate
with passion.

I once had a dream
All captured and framed
Put up in a corner of my heart
I preened at its possession
More like an obsession
But then
Time went by
And one day
I saw a picture
All faded and dull
Hanging limply
In a lone corner of my heart
Slowly I realized
This was once my dream
Now all withered and battered
Having endured
The storms in my heart
I pulled down the picture
Stroked it longingly
Stared at it lovingly
Then I let it go
For dreams only shine
In the light of true love.

Oh my fantasy
Dwells in doom
It revolves around
Despair and gloom
With these dark clouds
Hovering in my mind
Thoughts so rueful
Devoid of any good kind
At times I want to be known
For the great mind that I possess
Other times I want to be shown
For what I have let go of
And then there are times
I want to be hidden
Like great, thundering chimes
With sources unknown.
