After Years In Prison
Kunu singh Apr 2019
Past was extreme dark,
now, it is unnaturally bright
both deprives me of
sightness.

Separation makes my heart sinks
with nobody to love, care, talk to
I wander here and there
trying to find links.

Don't know, how much I could bear
how far I would go
where I would go
North, south, east, west
all lead to the state of sorrow.

With almost no strength left in me
my limbs try hard
to take me to the park
where I sit all day
glancing children, squirrels, and birds
tears often show up
on my wrinkled cheeks
but dry up every time
by the soothing waves of wind on my face
And I straighten myself up again
thinking there is still hope left.

One Temperamental Eve
Kunu singh Apr 2019
Look, look at the sun
sinking at the far end
seeking home
thinking about none.

A coward, I have ever seen
stepping back ahh!
you loser!
ever looked at people over here,
how can you be so mean?

Why do you hide your face
behind those old blacky hills?
you think, your red light
would stop me,
No, never
a brave patriotic soldier as I am.

Ohhhh...I apologize, sorry dear
for firing at you
being harsh, hurtful
somehow I stepped on you.
Well that was for my enemies
going to encounter tonight.
Wish me success, my friend
hope you'd like me to see you
tomorrow, I guess
If I am sorry again.

Good Morning !
Kunu singh Apr 2019
After a quiet couple of showers,
nature looks calmer, refreshed
more beautiful than before
With every creature
waiting for someone,
surely their regular guest
the warmish Sun!
which eventually born
from beneath the mountains,
illuminating the dark sky,
ready for its routine run.

The very silence of the dawn
slowly breaks,
by the whistling noise of
insects and snakes.
The pure water,
still stagnate on the earth crust,
the grasses seem to rejoice
at quenching their thirst.

Slowly, the very first rays fall on the greens
and thatched roof shelter,
the aroma of wet ground
fills the air
scenting every corner.

The bell is heard ringing,
symbolizing the aged
at the temple door,
the heavy bell,
which remained wet, all night
enables it to sound more.

Listen to the cheerful chirping
of the ever joyful birds,
leaving their nests,
flattering their purified wings,
flying troughs and crests.

And as the sand slips down,
men are seen,
heading towards the fields,
with full of vitality and enthusiasm,
to grow the future,
sowing present seeds.

That Cursed Moon
Kunu singh Apr 2019
The night was pleasing
but the moonlit sight unfair,
my heart sank
when I realized a little,
learned a lot.
And for every reason
I stood there shattered,
then silently left the plot.

You looked happier
with him,
that was all I could see.
I cursed the moon
for unveiling
what I never imagined it could ever be.

I feel heavyhearted losing you
but I am letting you go
for the sake of you, dear
for your heartfelt smile
that has now gone much far
as the **** moon in the sky,
which I would miss forever though.
