Anorexia
hiimanonymous Apr 2019
Small wrists, thin thighs
Purple nails, pretty lies
Brittle hair, cracking lips
Ice cold-feet, shrinking hips

Waking up, and wondering how
Waiting for death, and wanting it now
Nothing for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
In the pursuit of being thinner

Helplessly watching the number drop
Wondering when it’s time to stop
Crying yourself to sleep at night
Every meal with mom is a fight

Stares as you walk down the street
But all you need is the fat to deplete
Dizzy head, unquenched thirst,
Will insanity or starvation **** you first?

Sunken in cheeks and hollow eyes
Eyes so fixated on that prize
The hunger high and comfort of induced death
Keep disappearing ‘til there’s nothing left

Protruding bones and a body weak
Nothing to pass my lips; Record: three day streak
Hair falling out in chunks endlessly
Run, run, run; Burn calories relentlessly

Stomach growling,
I think I’m drowning
In
My
Own
